Music has always been an integral part of my life.Right from
childhood,i've been listening to all kinds of Music.Music has inspired
me throughout my life.In this page i list a few of my favourites,and

Pink Floyd
   I will start with Pink Floyd.They have recently completed 30 years
of their existence.They are known as the archetypes of "Psychedelic Rock"
groups.Though they've released plenty of albums,"The Dark Side Of The Moon"
is considered their Magnum Opus,indeed the album which to many latter-day
afficionados IS the Floyd.But Wait....                   
    In June'79,Pink Floyd released "The Wall".The album was an extraordinary
commercial success.The children who sang "We Don't Need No Education.."
on Another Brick In The Wall,were from Std.IV and came from a school
whose students had a 20 pass percentage.Pink Floyd's brilliant new 
recording in'94 was "The Division Bell".The album takes one on a walk
with nostalgia,as tha achingly beautiful melodies and lyrics of the classic
Floyd are re-echoed here.Pink Floyd still have every bit of the creative
madness they had 30 yrs ago & have years of the future of Rock still 
buzzing within them.

      Jagjit Singh-The King of Ghazals.Though i've been introduced to him
only lately,this man is magical and soothing.His Ghazals have made History
and some of them will be remembered for many many years to come.
      Though Jagjit is famous only for his ghazals,he has sung many a film
songs too.His tunes like "Tumko dekha to....","Tum itna jo muskura rahe ho..",
"Apni Marzi....","Hothon se choo lo tum...."etc etc have enchanted many
listeners.He has conducted many tours in India and abroad.
