Darren Stanley Hayes was born on May 8th, 1972 to Robert and June Hayes. Darren is about 178 cm tall ( I have no clue what that is in feet, I'm so bad at conversions ) with a short buzzy haircut and dazzling greyish blue eyes. He says he cut his hair because he wanted to look like a man, and I think that scared away most of his worshippers who obsessed about the version of him with long hair. Well, if that really is the case, then he should be glad he lost those fans...because they weren't true fans. He's the youngest of three, and has an older brother and sister. He has been married to his wife, Colby Taylor, for 3 years. Darren loves Bono and the gang, and also adores Sarah McLachlan ( although he did say that he wanted George Michael to produce the album ). Darren's fave Spice Girl is Geri, ginger spice, and while at a concert in India, he dedicated I want you to her. He says that if he were a spice boy, he'd be hairy spice ( I don't even want to know why...).Darren loves New York city, Doctor Pepper, and linguine with pesto. He's a strict vegetarian who doesn't smoke or drink. When asked to describe Daniel, Darren replied:"He's probably the most intelligent person I've ever met in my life. He doesn't say anything unless he's thought it through and it's right. It might take him two or three days, but he'll come up to you and say, 'I think you look really insecure when you do that. I'm just being honest.' And you'll go red because he's absolutely right. He's intuitive. Intelligent. Calm and confident. He's devoid of insecurity." Lately, Darren has been really annoyed by the fact that people are prying into his personal life so much--come on people, just give the guy a break!
