LEFT EYE RESPONDS...
[Tionne and Chilli's responses to Left Eye in Last week's EW Magazine are] "...merely shouts from those who only have a fractional understanding of what business is in this business."
"...Let it be understood that I am interested in making multimillion-dollar business deals. It seems that my two group members are not. This poses a serious conflict. Therefore, I propose The Challenge."
"I challenge Tionne "player" Watkins and Rozonda "Hater" Thomas to an album entitled The Challenge. A 3 CD set that contains 3 solo albums. Each...will be due to the record label by October 1, 2000... I also challenge Dallas "The Manipulator" Austin...to produce all of the material and do it at a fraction of his normal rate. As I think about it, I'm sure LaFace would not mind throwing in a 1.5 million dollar prize for the winner...Billboard will determine the winner..."
"After careful analysis of the tangled political web woven by my associates, I place the burden of TLC's future in their hands. The challenge is on the table ladies and gentlemen..."
"...I just want to present the challenge, they don't have to take it. I just want credit for my ideas, because I am the creative force behind TLC."
Could TLC be breaking up? Will T-Boz and Chille accept the challenge? What will become of the TLC 2000 Tour? Here is what The other group members had to say...
T-Boz & Chilli: "We think it'd be best to paraphrase the great poet Iyanla Vanzant... 'At a time when untiy is so desperately needed it is significantly lacking... Unity does not mean that we will al believe in or do the same things. It means we will agree to do something without battling over how and why."
Now it seems that the tour has been cut short, and they are taking sometime off to do solo projects in December. T-Boz will be promoting her book, Lisa will be working on her solo project, and Chilli will be in a movie next year called "Snow Day". Yet TLC will be together on stage at the VH1 Fashion Awards... will they be as United as they want to be...

VIRTUAL VIC-E!
Want to see what Virtual Vic-E looks like on the tour?

Thanks to Jordon, and wtlcfm for the great photo!
Well here is a little bit more on Vic-E:
The Vic-E on the tour
is only a sketch for TLC, not the actual. The real Vic-E does not have a
helmet, she is 2D at the moment and is on the back burner. TLC needed a
Vic-E for the tour so they got a quickie Vic-E. Dallas and Sheila are
working on her final image right now. Thanks to Chris for the info. Oh, and if you check out www.cyptron.com they added Vic-E introductions (which I might add was my suggestion, when Monica asked me about it.)to a few
of the sections.
Also I am helping out a few people at Cyptron.com, giving them some ideas for Virtual Vic-E's future. Actually Dallas and the rest of the DARP team are on point, and you guys are in for a big surprize with this virtual character, stay tuned here to find out more!
In TLC News, the new single may be "Dear Lie", it is said that the video was shot in New York, and that it will be out sometime in December. It's not offcial yet, but stay tuned for more!
Check me out on the Sally Jesse Show come December 3rd. T-Boz will be discussing her new book, Thoughts! Myself and freinds will be in the audience, supporting or dearly beloved friend, T-boz. ;)
TLC will perform at the 1999 VH1 Vogue Fashion Awards. VH1 will televise the show live Dec. 5 from the 69th Regiment Armory in New York.
