  Silence

  Silence is upon me and nights darkness appears,
  Wild winds blowing from afar ,
  Crickets singing there mating call in the distance,
  I sit in this place of happiness,
  Knowing that the next day will dawn,

  Thoughts running wild through my head,
  Hoping that the new day will bring joy,
  While sitting and thinking in silence of the past day gone,
  What I have done to receive such a gift of love,
  His voice going through my head as I hear him say,

  I love you never wanting to let go,
  What we have together is deep,
  Together we endure our love to come,
  Many thoughts hopes and dreams we have,

  Deep within our souls we will endure,
  As I feel the wild winds blow through me,
  Thoughts of what our life together can bring.
