As most know, the All-Star game will be held here in
Vancouver this season. All Star teams have not yet been
made; however, a new twist is being added this year-- it
will be North American players vs European and
Russian players. Players will not be put into eastern and western
conferences like usual. No doubt this is an experiment in lieu of the
upcoming Winter Games in Nagano in February, where NHL players
will participate for the first time.
