Valentine's  Roses

Roses have long been a symbol of one's love and affection on Valentine's Day.  My husband, Mike sends me roses, not just for Valentine's Day for but other occasions too.  Below are some of the Valentine's Bouquets I've received in the last few years.

Valentine's  Bouquets

On Valentine's Day, Mike usually gives me roses for Valentine's Day, but it's always a surprise what color they will be.  I think he enjoys giving them as much as I enjoy receiving them.  While roses only last a short time, I have kept some from every bouquet he's ever given me.

Left:  2001 - A Yellow rose with red tips.  I later pressed it.  It's framed and hangs in our bedroom.

Right 2002 - Red, Pink and White.  There was also an adorable little teddy bear that came with them that sits on my desk, and a heart-shaped red velvet box with Ghiradelli chocolates.

Left 2004 - All Red

Right 2005 - Mixed bouquet of red, pink, white, yellow, peach and lavender.

The first dozen roses Mike gave me were ivory.  I pressed all of them, and when time permits, I will mount and frame them.

The day we were married we exchanged roses in a Rose Ceremony.  Those roses were pressed and will be framed with one of our wedding photos.
