I hope that the Easter season will bring you all the joy that it brings me.  While my thoughts quietly center on the religious aspect of the season, my senses get caught up in the all the new life that surrounds us this time of year.  As I see the flowers come into bloom and the birds beginning to chirp (even that woodpecker in the backyard), I am reminded lf the "new life" I was given when Christ gave his life for us.

It's wonderful to live in a place where Spring and Easter come at the same time.  I have lived in other areas of the country where there is still snow on the ground this time of year!  It's wonderful when cabin fever comes to an end!

Easter 2005:  For me this year, I have some new toys to play with--a new HP735 digital camera and a JVC mini DV  Over the next few days as things begin to bloom, I'll post some of the pics for you to enjoy here!

These were taken up near Daniel Village Shopping Center in Augusta.  You can see that the Dogwood is just beginning to bloom.  The azalea is actually a little early this year.  Most are still budded.  It will be a few more days before they really begin to open up.   Keep watching more will be coming soon!
