Please remember NO MATTER what you are told, your distributor or supplier must furnish you with the proper MSDS Sheets for the products you order. If they try to tell you it is not needed because it is a Negative MSDS....you still want it. The OSHA Representative will write you up as you are required to prove your statement. The only way is to have that MSDS Sheet. Please remember that the fines start at $1000 per item with no MSDS Sheet. Also keep in mind that all products are not created equal. If you are have an MSDS Sheet for "Comet" you better not have a can of "Ajax" on your shelf! You will be fined. You will find that getting the same brand keeps you from constantly changing MSDS Sheets. The time and energy involved costs more than the few cents you save.

How to obtain Material Safety Data Sheets

On all animal related products look to your distributor or supplier. On common household items that you purchase at the store you will need to call the 800 number on the product. The companies are quite advanced and you will hear them ask you if it is concerning an MSDS Sheet on one of their products. They will get your name and info and send you the MSDS Sheet on the product or products you request. Drugs stores should be able to help on medical products. MSDS Sheets can be found on the WEB for those name brand printers and copiers. Just do a search for your brand and you will find MSDS Sheets listed and the instructions for obtaining them.
