mid week-ish of the 13th there abouts .... wow, what a life! graduation is in one month today!!! We are working very hard to get ready for the great celebration ... not only will we be attending the graduation ceremony, we got tons and tons of family, friends and loved ones coming in from out of town ... we got to prepare for the luncheon, the ceremony and the reception!!!! ~*~ off to order food, see ya! ~*~
Wednesday, May 19th ... happy day to ya!! I know I have been few and far between for the past several months ... and I know I gave a lame excuse last month about the whole ordeal ... well, I am ready to come clean! First off, I have been very, very busy with my real life, graduation, mini vacations and general ups and downs. I prolly shoulda took a sabitical, from the internet and irc, but I didn't and my web pages have suffered from that. But I am going to give it my all and try my very best to get back where I was in February and March, having fun, dealing with all this, learning all this before, and just doing what comes to mind. Isn't doing "what ever comes to mind" a lot of fun??? Yes, it is ... especially when it is in all good taste. And speaking of good taste, I got some new web pages I am fixing to let loose!!! I was told about two weeks ago, that if I did not have 800 web pages that I could have more time to devote to IRC, and make IRC important to me as well as making the web pages. Well, folks, this is how it is. IRC nor the internet is the most important thing in my life. My family is. Every single member and not the first one of them have ever complained about my web pages and told me if I didn't have them I would have time for them. Let me clarify something ... I do NOT have 800 web pages ... trust me! (don't blink!) I promise my friends, family and loved ones that when I reach the 800th page, that I will STILL have time for them ... I suppose the moral of my entry today is, please don't clean out from underneath my door step, unless you paid for the step!
TGIF!!!! Good Afternoon my friends :)) ... thanks for the sweet letters ... Today I am headed out to Alabama, to attend my nephews high school graduation ... we are all thrilled about this ... he has come a long way in his life and has turned out to be a fine person. My brother got custody of him when he was just a tyke, and with all due respect to the mother, I applaud my brother ...
Tomorrow will prove to be an interesting day. I will become a street vendor with my beanies. I have gotten so many of them that I plan to have a blow out sale and get these babies out to the public for a fair price ... and yes, I did get the umbrella!!! roflol ... have a happy weekend ~*~hugs~*~
May 23, 1998 - Saturday - I found myself sitting on a street corner selling beanie babies today. During one of the "slow spells" I got to thinkin ... I got a real job with a real pay check where we have to dress "accordingly" ... during the week I spend time on the phones with ppl from all walks of life. For example, politicians, attorneys, trustees, judges, bankers, repo-men, FBI, GBI, ATF and my sisters. And as I sit here with the hot sun baking down on me and my 400+ beanies, I said a little prayer and thanked God that I do not have a cell phone. People, this is some real life being out here with the dust, the bugs and the fresh air. I been kicking up dust all day long. Slapping bugs and critters even. And if I was in a position to make a choice between doing this and my real job, without a shadow of a doubt, I'd most likely be kicking up dust every day! Sorry about that, Ma Bell. ~*~ big smiles to ya ~*~
