WELCOME to Goatshead Brewery.It's been sometime since I updated this page. I'm back! I lost my password and have been busy.
Ive been home brewing now for about 8 years and think I know what Im doing(ya right). I have moved on from a 5 gallon fermenter to a 12 gallon fermenter.
I do get some interesting e-mails about my goat and the name of my beer but Im sticking with it. Have a look around my site, maybe some usefull info. Will be updating it and adding more info that will help other homebrewer's. Have a recipe then share it, need a recipe then ask and I will help. I brew any thing from a steamale to a red ale to a dark or light. I use mainly top fermenting yeast to some lager yeast in a top fermenting recipe.Turns out great. I like to break the traditional rules of brewing and yet make a great tasting beer.

So let me tell you from an amatures point of view, if after you make your first batch of beer and you are not satisfied, try again. If you think after you brew once or twice your beer should be perfect, then learn how to sew it will be easier.
And most of all, if you are trying to make a commercial beer, well.......... Let's just say, go to the store and buy it. It will save you a lot of time.
My HOPS and ME and of course My GOAT
I have made up 3 recipes, a red a pale , a brown ale. It took me every bit of 3 to 4 years to perfect them and bragg about them. I'am willing to exchange them or tell you the recipe for just the satifaction knowing you would enjoy them.
This first picture is of the Hops I grew last year. I will add two more plant's this year and I will tell you they are easy to grow and a lot of fun to watch.
Of course I will make you all suffer a little by making you look at a picture of ME!!! Sorry, hope no kid's will see this.
If your wondering why I call my beer Goats head the picture below is of my pet goat. Her name is Abbey. She also likes beer, that is a couple sips every now and then of my home brew.
