FYI There are two events which you might like to go to on the Weekend of the 2-nd and 3-rd. There is the Gay Fair in Gay Georgia, and the Civil War Reenactment in Andersonville.

Tuesday –5-th Join your friends at the Business/Membership meeting at Castello's (the site of the former Buck and Clyde's). Dinner 6 PM/Meeting 7 PM. We'll be discussing the October activities. Also, this would be a great time to purchase your tickets for the Christmas Dance. Tickets will be on sale from Board Members.

Saturday--9-th Join a group of your Friends for dinner at 6:15 at Café Mediterranean , and then go on to the Springer. Don’t forget to call the box office early for your tickets. Then go to get desert after the show. Please let either Anne or Tom know if you plan to join them (568-1913 or 660-9598).

Thursday-14-th Board Meeting tonight, 7:00 PM at Jean Grierson's. Jean is going to make lasagna, and if you wish to attend, please bring a covered dish to share. Also let Jean know in advance. Dinner is at 6:00P.M. Meeting to follow at 7:00 P.M.

Saturday-16-th Join your Friends for dinner and a Sing-A-Long at the Comer Gym Conference Room. Dinner is covered dish and begins at 7:00 P.M. The club will provide the sodas, and members bring a dish and BYOB. Cost is $2.00 for members and $3.00 for guests. To get to the Comer Gym, go from the JR Allen Bypass towards downtown Columbus on Second Ave. Turn right on 41-st Street. You should see the gym right there.

Wednesday-20-th Join your Friends at El Carrizo on Weems Road for Happy Hour. They have great cheap margaritas! See you there at 5:30. Next to Country's on Weems Road at Main Street Village.

Saturday-23-rd If you enjoy dancing, join your friends at the Marco's in Waverly Hall for dinner at 6:00 P.M. and then on to Callaway Gardens for drinks and dancing. Let's Party!

Friday-29-th Join Doris Tice at the Human Experience Theater for "Social Security". Call the theater for a reservation (323-3689) and be sure to ask for the Doris Tice table. Doors of the Theater open at 7:15 P.M. Bring a picnic basket and join your Friends for an exciting evening.

Saturday-30-th Don't forget to set your clocks back. Spring forward! Fall back! Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday. Happy Halloween!
