Circle of Friends' Opportunities

Field Trips - We typically schedule at least one field trip each month. The trips are designed for a variety of ages. Trips vary in cost. Non-members must sign a disclaimer before participating in CoF field trips.



Park Days - First and third Thursdays; 1:30 PM at Clinton Play Garden in Clinton Nature Preserve. This is a fun time for the children to play together in the park. We do not reschedule Park Day if it rains.

Moms Night Out - This opportunity is held several times during the year. It is a great time for moms to get out and get to know one another.

Opportunities for Members Only

Classy Fridays- Our Classy Fridays have classes for our children and teens in the New Life Building of First Baptist Church in Lithia Springs. Classes are from 10 until 3 (with a lunch break from 12:05 until 1:30) on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month. There is an additional charge per child for each class. Our classes meet at Sunset Hills Baptist Church in Douglasville. There are classes for each age group - Puppies (4-7 years), Eagles (9-12 years), and Dragons (13+).

Clubs - Group clubs meet from 10 - 12 on the 3rd Friday of each month. There are clubs for each age group. There are often clubs that include all age groups, as well. Honor’s Celebration - This event is held once a year. We use this opportunity to honor our children and their accomplishments during the year. Please note—although we welcome visitors to this event, only members will be allowed to participate.

Email Egroup - An online loop of Circle of Friends Members. This group enables our members to share ideas, problems, suggestions, and personalities. It is a great way for members to get—and stay—close.

Newsletter - The CoF newsletter comes out 11 times each year. This newsletter keeps members up to date on all of the upcoming events and opportunities.

Membership Directory - A directory of members is put out each year in September. This includes addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of the members.
