Palmer Cox

Palmer Cox was born in (April 28, 1840 - July 24, 1924 ) Granby, Quebec. To try an earn a living as a Illustrator and poet, he moved to San Francisco. he was accredited to such publications as the Golden Era, the Alta California, and the San Francisco Examiner, for his work. When he had moved to New York, he developed the first series of Brownie tales as well as accredited to other litery articles i.e. Scribners

He had published sixteen Brownie books. As well as nine other books.The Brownie books are still popular and in reprint today; For example, the Brownie Yearbook 1988 and the 1971 of Bugaboo Bill from Tuttle publishing
