This was a brilliant experience for Geraint, because in his first test the true great Brian Lara hit the record number of runs in a test match he was 400 not out. Here is a picture of him breaking Matthew Hayden’s previous record of 375 runs.

Position, batting number: Wicket keeper, number 7.

Test debut:  West Indies vs. England at St. Johns April 10-14, 2004.

 

For people that don’t know Geraint Jones is the England cricket first choice wicket-keeper and also is Kent county cricket club’s first choice wicket-keeper, he also can bat very well and is number 7.
