KALOSORISMA...WELCOMING

This site was created for the sole purpose to exhibit the history and the future of a newly formed Greek cultural group whose main area of interest is the Greek traditional dances from all regions of Greece. Various workshops are being held in Hamilton house, Bangor, dealing with the different forms of regional dances and customs of Greece. (if you have been in Greece you know what all this is about. Dances that you have seen being performed in tavernas, open celebrations in squares(paneyeeria), in movies etc). From simple steps to help build your self confidence to more complex routines for shows.

All ages are welcome. The Workshops run in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly faces all around and encourage you to come along and improve your general fitness with the excitement of Greek dancing.
