England tomorrow!
Mood:  chillin'
Now Playing: Stranger in a strange land - Iron Maiden
Topic: Preparations
Howdy ho everyone.
What's happenin?
I'm mostly all good. Still need to do some last minute stuff, but what else is new. haha.
Yesterday i went to the mall... mainly to say goodbye to everyone and get a couple things... oil of olay body butter ribbons body wash, fake nails, garnier pure A daily moisturizer. I went to shoppers and managed to get the oil of olay and the garnier gel there. i was pleasantly surprised.. i found the gel and and intended on only getting the day one, as i already have the night one. They were both on sale for nine dollars!! I was so impressed with the effects of the night one, i got another night one plus the day one. They're regular like 15 dollars each, so i figured hey save 10 bucks why not?!

So in any event. I've had this window open for about 8 hours.. and i have just gotten around to finishing this "journal" entry. Its rather late in the evening now. I've been working away on different things all day, managed to get my room tidied a little bit, and managed to get most of william's immigration sorted. I should have no problems sending it off tomorrow.

In good news from today though, William has managed to borrow 200 pounds from his mom for when im there. That's great as it will give us an extra 200 pounds to spend if we need to.

Ive finished packing my carry on bag, and im just going to top off my luggage here shortly and then i should be done the packing part, and the immigration part, and it will just be the cleaning part thats left. Rock on.

Anyways, time to go sort it all out.
Speak to you all soon.

Well, well, well.
How's everybody today then? I'm alright, I feel as though I may have a cold started in my nose, which leads me to think "AGGHH NOT RIGHT NOW" nothing is worse than having to fly 37,000 feet with a stuffy nose. then ur like *sob sob* MY EARS! My ears aren't particularly bad on flights, just when i try to fix it myself its like "YEEEEEEEOUCH" okay, well its not THAT bad. it is painful tho, slightly.

Im hoping my fishes will be alright while im gone. they were okay last time, just when i returned id discovered my old betta had beaten one of the goldfish up severely, and the goldfish, in retaliation, had turned around and, literally, beaten the betta to within an inch of his poor fishy life. needless to say, the betta died a few weeks later, and i noticed the goldfish had grown massively in the couple weeks i was gone. and he became a huge bully. i bought him some new goldfish friends, and he beat one to death, but is now best buds with the other. i also bought a new betta. he is rad. i like fish, im not sure why.

Today i intend on cleaning my room, finishing immigration and going to the mall to purchase a few items, such as Garnier Skin Naturals Pure A Daytime Face Gel, oil of olay body butter ribbons, my trip insurance, and some stick on fake nails. yes i know that sounds cheesy, but its also for protection. have you ever broken/cut your nails so short it literally hurts your fingers? well i did that the other day and it kills. if you bang them directly on the top of your finger its even worse!! so if you have fake nails on while they grow out a bit, its less painful. and the stick on ones are quite nice. they dont look fake at all lol. I finished packing last night (hooray, i ACTUALLY got something accomplished! im proud) haha. I even bought snacks for the plane last night, a small bag of doritos, and two boxes of animal crackers. I saved two packs of melba toast as well, so im taking melba toast too.

Anyways, considering William has run off to eat his dinner quickly, perhaps i will start tidying up a bit.
Speak to you all soon.

Seventy Two Hours
Mood:  lazy
Now Playing: Home for a Rest - Spirit of the West
Topic: Preparations
Okay, lets get one thing straight.. im only feeling lazy cuz i just got out of bed. hahaha.

and come on, its nine am.

Wowzers. Its three days till i leave for england... *has a spaz attack* aaaahhhh. It really didnt feel like it was so close until yesterday.. then i remembered how much crap i still had to do... AAAAH. jeez louise. how did it sneak up on me this time?!

yeesh.

oh yes now i remember what i was going to write about in here.. i guess it will have to do as an interim journal since my usual one is nowhere to be found! *tear* thats sad.
anyways, on friday i decided to go out to whyte avenue and west edmonton mall to retrieve a few things i needed to. i walked to the bus stop and there witnessed a hilarious sight. some teenage girl having her big 26 of smirnoff vodka poured out right in front of her by ets security. haha yes! so i was a little weirded out by the amount of teenagers milling about at that time of the day. 1pm on a friday. shouldnt they be in school? unless of course schools swapped thursday and friday days..so the kids got out early on friday for spring break (which, thank you jesus i will not be here for). anyways so i hopped on the six to the university and got off and walked down the road to where whyte ave starts. it was about a 30-40 minute walk altogether to get to 104th street, where i turned right to go south towards scona school, which was the area the art store was in that i was going to. dad got me some art gift certificates for christmas.. and i still hadnt used them. i decided i wanted to take a sketchbook on the plane with me, although i hope im seated alone if i decide to draw. im weird that way. i cant have people watching me. if i do then its totally off putting, as william would say, and i cant continue. especially if they remark on it. aaghh!
so i got a sweet 100 page sketchbook, a nice size one, not too big and not too small. and i got some art pens for finelining and such, and then a sweet pack of proper brush art pens.. mm theyre wicked. 18.75 tho, yeesh! but at least i had $40 in certificates.. woo :) so i ended up spending exactly like 39.75. rock on erin!
so after i was done there i walked back to whyte ave and went to tim hortons. i needed change for the bus again, so i bought a medium cafe mocha. mm i sat and drank it then walked across the street and up the road to get the 4 to WEM. i didnt have to wait exceedingly long for it. so i got on that bus, which was a little crowded and headed for the mall. when i got there i went straight to the area the calforex currency exchange is in, which is upstairs by the palace casino. i was going to check my bank balance, and take money out, but there was such a line for the atm i decided meh screw it and just took my chances. so i asked the lady for two hundred pounds in travellers cheques and 100 in cash. 300 should do me nicely for awhile when im there. at least three of the five weeks i should think. we're not doing a huge amount of stuff that costs money this time.
so then after i did that, it totalled nearly 650 dollars for 300 pounds, i went to the supply seargent. i wanted an army jacket to put iron maiden patches on.. and i found one! FOR TEN BUCKS! sweet ass.
So then i did check my account and i still had well over three hundred bucks in it. sweet. rock on.
then i just meandered around the mall for an hour or two and timed it perfectly to get to capilano mall to meet mom after work. i rule dont i? haha.
anyways so that was my exciting double destination adventure. i was so pooped after that i came home and fell asleep. ZZzzzZZZzzzZZz
in any event. time to draw.

Happy Birthday to ME!
Mood:  happy
Now Playing: I wish I had an angel - Nightwish
Topic: My birthday
Howdy ho everyone.
How's everyone doin? I'm super fantastic. My birthday was yesterday and it was super good! Well, minus the fact that I had to work. That kind of sucked but everyone made it sooooo worth my while! Especially Christine! Thanks dude!
I was unsure if my parents would remember to buy me a cake, so i said i would pick one up, and i happened to mention it to Christine. She had opened the store, was leaving for 2 hours then coming back to work till close with me. That would have sucked royally. Agh! Anyways, when she left for her two hour break, she also went and bought me TWO birthday cakes!! one to eat at the store and one to take home! WHAT A SWEETIE! Then when i went on my break mom had called my phone so i called her back and she told me not to go buy a cake as dad had gone and got one from Marble Slab Creamery. Crazy! Apparently he had also bought my birthday gift! YAY. wow. i dont remember the last time i got birthday presents ON my birthday. It just hasn't happened lately in the last few years.
So then Jenny from the comic book store/health food store came by and gave me mini eggs!! She had given me an awesome birthday present the night before! I went to visit her while she was unpacking a small shipment, and she got in some of this facial cleanser and toner id wanted to try...but id already spent so much money that day on last minute stuff for england, so i said id just buy the facial cleanser.. so i went back to work to get my wallet and when id returned, she had bought me the facial cleanser AND toner for my birthday!! i was like AWWW DUDE! (heart heart heart)
that was super sweet of her.
Plus i bought cupcakes for everyone on the 20th. Yay!!
Then when i got home i saw the cake my parents had bought me. it was lacey vanilla ice cream cake from the creamery with cut up strawberries strewn about inside the cake and it was topped with strawberries. it was so pretty..almost too pretty to eat! Plus my present was really pretty dishes.. two sets so i have a service for 8 now. They're all white with japanese looking cherry blossom flowers painted on them. most of the dishes have the cherry blossom in the center of the plate or cup...but the dinner plates have a large branch of cherry blossoms up one side of the plate. theyre really very nice. Thanks mom and dad :)

So in all it was an awesome semi two day birthday lmao. Thanks to everyone who made it memorable and enjoyable. It meant a lot to see how much im loved by everyone :). And yes, when i go to england ill miss you all like crazy too!
Love you guys!

Other than that im working tomorrow through thursday. I even have to work on my birthday (tuesday the 21st) how dumb is that? oh well extra money. I can use it considering William (my boyfriend) is taking me to paris france in three weeks.
thats exciting.
