Curriculum Standards

I am looking to see that the students become familiar with the particular body system they researched. Students should be familiar with the major components of each system and their functions. I am also looking to see that students present their material to their fellow classmates in a manner that promotes a better understanding of the particular body system being discussed.  

Health Standards Addressed:

* Identify and describe the structures and function of the major body systems.
    -nervous
    -muscular
    -integumentary
    -urinary
    -endocrine
    -reproductive
    -immune

* Analyze the interdependence existing among the bod systems.

This lesson promotes cooperative learning; students working together to achieve a common goal. Also, each student's grade is based on the overall performance of the group. Hopefully, through this project, students will learn and realize that people will depend on them throughout their lifetime and this is just one of those instances.
