blog 6 Public Tranportation
Mood:  accident prone
Topic: public transportation
Should I be lucky for the public transportation system in San Francisco? Having MUNI, Bart, Sam-Trans, and taxis or limos accessible to me. I should feel grateful for all those organizations. But I’m not! I have taken MUNI previously and now I have to use their services again unfortunately. It’s very hard to get to work driving because of the traffic getting to work. The amount of money I have to spend on gas, not including car repairs. Last is the significant time I will waste just trying to find a park. So for that I am forced to ride MUNI every morning and evening. I have been content with the service in the past, but now it’s really staring to be a hassle just to get to work and back. My first dilemma is the time schedule that is never clear, to me on estimating when my bus will come. I know it is impossible to determine exactly what time the bus driver will arrive at each stop, but theirs no clear time period that it will arrive. Sometimes it comes at 7:15, 7:10, and even as late as 7:40. I’ve tried many times to judge when exactly to go to the bus stop so that I can be at work at a reasonable time, but it is just too impossible. So I get to the bus stop 30 minutes earlier than usual to ensure that if I’ve missed a bus, I can take the next one or an alternate route to ensure that I get to work on-time. My second issue is the overcrowding on the bus. I’ve been on buses that come more frequent and have fewer passengers to pick up. One would think that if a bus is crowded everyday to the point where you can’t even pick up all the passengers at certain stops, that the MUNI would recognize that and add another bus. My last complaint is the bus ethics that accurse usually at the front of the bus. The front of the bus is supposed to be designated for people who are disabled or elderly. But, for the times I’ve got on the bus there are either young adults or children in those seats when the bus is crowded. It is the bus driver’s obligation to let the passengers know who those seats are designated for and be able to enforce it. I hate MUNI because it has the potential to be a good form of transportation for San Franciscans but it is lacking in the categories that I explained.

News in America
Mood:  sharp
Topic: the NEWS lies
I'm tired of flipping through news station on television that report mostly bullshit. I'm in a state of mind that everything I see on the news is lies or cover-ups. I'm tired of getting half stories or negative propaganda, to sway me towards how the media wants me think. In this day and age, people need to be informed on the truth, not what conservative Americans want you to be informed about. For example there are so many rallies apposing the war on Iraq but every time they have a meaningless poll from who I don't know, they always say that, most Americans are in favor of the war on Iraq. Just this past weekend there was a rally opposing the war and the news gave out false information that there where only about four hundred people their. When in fact, there were more like four thousand people. Then, they showed a picture of the demonstration only about 20 minutes into it the rally and portrayed that picture as the evidence for the number of people at the rally. Yet, the picture was not taken when the full assemble was present. Sometime I watch on satellite other countries news and feel that their coverage is more upfront and real, in the sense that it’s more graphic but seems to tell it like it is. It's hard to believe the crap they put on the news because of how bias, and discriminatory they are against people who are different and have an open mind about issues in today's society.

make-up blog 2 i hate bad cooking
Mood:  hungry
Topic: i hate bad cooking
Have you ever went to someone’s house and had to eat disgusting food not to heart someone’s feeling. One example, going to a friends house or their parents house and they give you all this hype on how good the food will be at the place you’re going. Or have you ever had to go off a friend’s suggestion of a good resturant and you ate exactly what they said to order and it was terrible. Being that I come from a long generation of great cooks and home gourmet chefs. It's hard to eat and enjoy food that's bland and, either under cooked or over cooked. I like a lot of different types of cultural foods and I give people the benefit of the dout that when they say their foods is good they mean it. Maybe, my expectation of good flavorful food is too high? Maybe, it's because I don't eat lots of process foods like fast food chains and TV dinners? Maybe, I have acquired a taste for the finest and don't want to be feed crap. I hate bad cooking because it's no longer edible and is a waste of good products.

blog 3 Guns in the ghetto
Mood:  don't ask
Yes, I’m addressing the issue of guns in the ghetto. First the ghetto to me is an area or environment that is neglected from the city. Because of discrimination or the poverty level, which cuts these areas from basic community needs like, funding for recreation programs. For example, schools with proper materials to ensure a high level of education; resources like a market with healthy and fresh produce; clean streets with programs to routinely provide healthy environments. These seem to be basic requirements but, are not met in these areas. The issue with guns is that these areas seem to have a high level of murders rates through homicide. Where are these guns coming from? Why are they targeting these areas to sell their firearms? Is it the police? Is it the military? Or is it the N.R.A? These questions we must ask ourselves because there are no gun factories in these areas. Is it a coincidence that these areas have a high rate of homicides through gun fire? What can we do if we live in these environments where guns are easily bought and distributed among people who have the potential to use them at any moment? Next time you pass through what you consider the ghetto, think about the dangers that the government has presented to you as a result of guns in the ghetto.

If we are aware that Bush is an idot why do people keep supporting him and voting for him. It seems to me that people in America talk the talk but don't walk the walk. Eveeryone seems to know that our president has no sense yet the still either support him or do nothing to oppose him. There are thousand of Americans who seem to rally and protest agains his veiws and decisions on the war on so called terroism but the only people being terrorize seem to be either the Americans on my block or the people overseas who have done nothing to terrorize me personly. Its a shame that a whole country is put to war because of one mans greed or insecurities.
