Until then, I will see only black and white

My ears long to hear your laughter
Until then, sounds will seem faint and far away

My lips yearn to kiss yours
Until then, they will remain parched

My nostrils flare in anticipation of your scent
Until then, I will breathe shallow

My flesh is in torment for your very touch
Until then, I will remain numb

Spirit to Spirit, we shall connect
Heart to Heart, we shall communicate
Soul to Soul, we shall know each other
To Eternity and back, we shall love
