Thank you for your interest in my Announcements!
Currently, I am seeking the following people:
Group 1: Poets of any genre for inclusion in my book of poetry. You will retain all Copyrights. I am seeking up to eight Poets who have at least 20 great poems to submit for this book of poetry. I have selected one Poet already and then there will be my own writings included in this book of poetry. Which means, as of today, I have six open spots available. The book will be self-published and all Poets that are going to be included in it, will be required to pay an equal share of this expense. Each Poet selected, will be required to find their own artist(s) and cover the costs of their own artwork you want to go with your writings. I will select the same number of poems from each Poet selected for inclusion in this book of poetry. Minimum number of poems selected from each Poet: 20. This is to keep a balance amoungst those selected for publication. It would be best, if you have written at least 40 poems, so that I will have a nice portfolio to select poems from. If you have your poems available online, send me a link or whatever, to access them. This is my preferred method, vs having you email them to me in groups of 4. Finally, all net proceeds will be divided equally amoungst all contributing Poets. There will be no payments made upfront. Sorry!
Group 2: One or more artists for fantasy (fairies, elfs, dragons, etc), real life (nature, people, cities, etc), decorative (ivy, flowers, creative, etc) and cover artwork. Some will be in color, some in greyscale. The cover will be in full color. You will need to be able to draw desired artwork from what you *see* in your own mind, based upon my describtion of what I want drawn. As I will not be providing you with models or such. I will need to see sample work that you have done, whether you were paid for it/them, or not. So, submit up to 3 of your best drawings in each of the afore mentioned catagories. If you are good in only certain areas, don't sweat it! Show me what you got! Finally, and I do appologize, but I am asking that you be able to accept a percentage of my share of the royalties, rather than upfront payments. This will be paid to you, each time I receive a royalty check. To be negotiated. Of course, I wouldn't refuse any volunteer artwork. But, I do not insist upon any volunteer artwork. If I get paid, then so should you. And you will.
Both Groups will be required to enter into a legally binding written contract with me, clearly stating all terms applicable.
