Leap Frog Up of Down Rules This fun format requires that you begin at either the top (3/4) or the
bottom (Yacht) and leap to every other category (going down from 3/4 or going
up from Yacht). How this works: Leap frog down: The first category you go for is 3/4, and then you leap over
5/6 go for 7s. Continue leaping down
in this fashion until after you
circle scorer. Come back to the top of
the card and leap your way down again.
(You would circled all of your cats in this order: 3/4, 7s, Starter, Scorer, 5/6, Straight,
Slam, and then Yacht.) Leap frog up: The first category you would go for is
Yacht, and then you would leap over scorer and go for Slam. Continue in this fashion of leaping up your
card until you circle 5/6. Come back
to the bottom of your card to Scorer, and leap you way up the card
again. (You would circle all of your
cats in this order: Yacht, Slam, Straight, 5/6, Scorer, Starter, 7s, and
3/4.) ROOM BOOT INSTRUCTIONS: In order
to easily resume tournament play after a room boot, please record the table’s
categories and scores before you leave the table: Do NOT click on the “Your
Connection has been lost” prompt or leave the table. Instead, please; write down all scores
and categories completed for both you
and your opponent(s), or take screen prints of each score card. (To
view a player’s score, click the small
scorecard icon next to their name. Proceed to Singles and Pairs room 2 if a connection to New Comp is not
available. The location of continued play will be determined based upon the
whether a connection can be established within five minutes. In the unlikely event that all rooms are
down, refer to the message posted on Tournament Main Page for information. Sit with your opponent(s)</ and wait for TD instruction once the
location of game play is determined. If players agree upon the collected
scores, the TD will instruct you to continue play. Please pay close attention
to your TD’s instructions. TDs will work with all players to come to a fair
and agreeable resolution to any issues that may arise. The TD has final say in the resolution of game play. Thanks so
much for your attention and understanding while we all work through the issue
of room boots. Top seeded
player (lower number) please select and set the table. Leave table watching
on for the TD but no other watchers are allowed. Please use a new table for
each round. If you
have a bye please feel free to practice or play, but you must be ready at the
start of
your game. If you need a break, two
minutes will be given in between rounds. Please let me and your opponent know
if you need to take your 2 minutes. In the event of a tie, each player rolls for any category, except yacht.
BONUSES COUNT! Please report losses to the tourney page only. If you have problems
reporting, please let me know and I will report for you. Please report all boots to me
immediately. A booted player may be disqualified if they have not returned
within 8 minutes. Players have a maximum of 3 timed boots,
and may be disqualified upon booting for the 4th time. Please treat your opponents the way you
would like to be treated. Rude or inappropriate behavior will not be
tolerated and will result in disqualification. If you have an issue of any
kind, please notify me privately and immediately so that I may address it
with you. Cheating is to be reported Under the
'Contact Admin' support link on the main ladder page. TDs can inform the
Admin Team if there is a problem, but will not watch games to observe
suspicious behavior. Have fun and Good Luck everyone!! |
