Archives for the 3rd week of August 8/20/2004 - Much to tell about Sorry I don't have a nice funny picture to caption today's article, but there's so much I'd like to get to today that I don't have much time to Photoshop up anything, or post a whole hell of a lot, so I'm just gonna do a few stories that nabbed my interest. * U.S. Troops out NOW! - Hey! Wait a minute, that's the wrong country! * Can vaginas vote? Well, according to Hanoi Jane they do. Something smells fishy about this. * Clinton in 2104! - The time capsule to be opened 100 years from today will carry items from Clinton's legacy. Maybe they should throw in some ill-gotten Chinese money, a file folder containing papers planning out a crappy healthcare plan, and a blue dress (size XXL) with a mysterious clear goo on it. * No Boobs For Oil! - Here's a miltary protest I'm sure most guys can "get behind". * al-Sadr voted for the truce, - Before he voted against it. I guess we'll be seeing another figure go up on DeadArab.com in the next couple days. That's all for now, kiddies. More on Monday.
No wonder so many liberal theories are full o' shit! 8/19/2004 - The A.B.B. Crowd's Hypocrisy The whole concept of the looney left's decision to support Lurch baffles me. Sure, they want to oust what they consider to be a vile, evil, warmongering imbecile from the Oval Office, but if they just look at what Kerry's proposing.. it's pretty much the same damn thing. According to our liberal "friends": Dont vote for Bush because he took us to war........Vote for Kerry because he voted for us to go to this war and even said a couple of days ago that he would do it again. Dont vote for Bush because he supports the PATRIOT Act....Vote for Kerry because he voted for and still supports the PATRIOT Act. Dont vote for Bush because he is a wealthy, elitist, white guy.....Vote for Kerry because he is a wealthy, elitist, white guy. Dont vote for Bush because he is too pro-military....Vote for Kerry because not only is he a genuine war hero, but he also wants to increase the military by 40,000 troops. Dont vote for Bush because he opposes UN mandated enviromental regulation such as the Kyoto Treaty.......Vote for Kerry because he voted against the Kyoto Treaty. This is the mentality of the A.B.B. crowd. I'm completely confuzzled by it. Thanks to Corporate Little for providing the info here
Kerry would rather spend time with dorks like this, then actually WORK! 8/18/2004 - The Absent Senator If the SwiftBoat ads aren't a big obstacle in the way of the Kerry Kampaign, then his Senate record sure as hell is, or should I say.. lack thereof? President Bush's new ad, which states that Kerry missed 76% of Senate intelligence meetings from 1993 to 2000. Now in an angry respone to Bush's ad, Kerry has put up "proof" that he DID attend those meetings. In the campaign's response.. they apparently were looking up the WRONG "Kerry"! This, added to the supposed Christmas in Cambodia that Kerry said he was a part of.. man, and this guy's supposedly not going to "mislead" the country if he's elected? Yeah. Sure. And Michael Moore is a truth-telling, non-partisan movie maker who deeply cares about America, and has flawless physical features and smells good to!
Would Lurch be caught dead consoling a common trailer-park resident? I think not! 8/16/2004 - Media more damaging to Bush than Charley Browsing through the news today, I am upon this little tidbit, and I wasn't surprised in the least bit. Her's a small excerpt: President George Bush flew into south-west Florida yesterday on a mission that was as much about politics as compassion for the area devastated by a hurricane over the weekend. For Mr. Bush, the handling of the aftermath of Charley, the worst hurricane to hit Florida in a dozen years since Hurricane Andrew in 1992, could be crucial to his hopes of winning the state in the presidential election in November. Latest polls show his rival, John Kerry, with a slim edge in the state. Mr Bush will be heeding harsh lessons learned by his father, who was heavily criticised in the wake of Hurricane Andrew. In August 1992, three months before losing that year's contest to Bill Clinton, George Bush Sr came under criticism when he flew to the perimeter of the storm's worst damage south of Miami - and hastily left again. Experts also warned that Mr Bush faced a challenge trying to dispel any notion that he was trying to make political mileage out of the human tragedy left by the storm. If he achieves that, Charley may end up helping him recover support in a state which he snatched from Al Gore in 2000 by just 537 votes. Now, granted this is from a Eurotrash elitist newspaper, but I'm sure the mainstream media here will be parroting it soon, as most of them would rather think how Europe does than how your average blue-collar American does. But hell, at least they didn't say he CAUSED Hurrican Charley! I'll give 'em credit for that. But take a look (you'll need a shower afterwards) at how the opposition over at DemocraticUnderground.com is looking at it. They're actually ANGRY that Bush came there to talk to residents and is giving them aid! And also throwing all sorts of conspiracy theories that "This HAS to be the work of Halliburton" and "Jeb Bush is just going to steal the aid money!" Think I'm lying? Go check the link. Problem is (for the Dems), Bush actually cares about your average Joe six-pack. I'm betting that politics was the FARTHEST thing from his mind right then. Now, he might get a bump in the polls from this, but this is what an American president is supposed to do during a time of crisis. And if you want to help in any small way, Strengthen the Good has a few ways you can try to help those in need in Florida in case any of you readers are feeling generous.
