why is it that i always fall for the guys that are unattainable?

wow...back to work. bleh. it's monday morning, and i just finished doing a bunch of work and bleh. well, since i dont have a computer at home, it's time for you all to read about my great weekend. well - last week was the best JC week ever!!! i saw JC THREE TIMES LAST WEEK!!! it was great. plus we saw so many other famous people just chillen', coming out to support my man jc! it was great. after seeing the concert Thursday night, i was so hyped that i just had to go again, so i ended up calling up, jay, tanya, and kookee, and i brought them with me to see the concert. i'm actually proud to say that i've created 3 new jc fans! from taking them to the concert friday night, they all admitted to underestimating him before, and they all now have a new respect for him. heh...kookee's been bumping his cd all weekend! HA! i'm telling you all - JC's Just that talented! damn all you haters! he rocks!! ...after the concert we headed to Leo's to grab some grub before heading home to just chill. it was cool...i havent had leo's in forever.

anyways...if you know me, you know that i'm the vcr queen. i tape about a million shows during the week cuz that's when im busiest, and then i just try to watch them all on the weekends, but dude - i was so busy this weekend. Saturday ended up being family day. it was my ate janelle's engagement party, and we finally met her fiance arnold's family. dude - arnold is the youngest of 10 kids! crazy, huh? but yeah, we ended up having lunch in Northridge, then my cousins (ate janelle, arnold, jean, jen, kuya, jr, and ruby) all headed over to my house to just chill. it was good times. we havent all been together since...hahaa....lola's bday, but it was cool catching up. i love my cousins! it was non-stop that day too...

i had figured i'd get some rest on sunday and get a chance to catch up on my tapes, but nope...anna called me up and invited me to come watch Phil's championship game for his PacRim basketball team. the team is actually pretty good, but unfortunately, the JV Rejects lost by 2 points. Shit, it was like a reunion up in there. all our friends from our ghetto past...haahaa...crazy...anyways, it was fun. after the game, we headed to Auntie Lerma's place to pick up the cutest godson ever - Ty. then the three of us had lunch at Noodle Plantet before heading back to their pad to just chill. it was the cutest thing. while we were chillen at the house ty started showing me all the power ranger poses! haahaa...it was soooo cute!!! haahaa...i love that guy!

haahaa...busy, but good. i had a nice weekend...

OMG...i cannot tell you enough how much JC's CONCERT LAST NIGHT ROCKED!!!!!! Kris and i had the best time at the show last night!!! i'd love to have pics to post up here, but dude - they didnt let us bring in any cameras. If you know me, you know what a big JC fan I am, but last night's concert just kicked ass. It totally just pushed my love to complete craziness. i'm totally in love now. he's just so talented it's not even funny. the concert rocked from beginning to end - yelling, screaming, singing at the top of their lungs. that's what everyone in the audience was doing. I've learned that JC's got some of the most diverse, loyal fans i've ever seen. his fans range in all shapes, sizes, ages, and colors - and every single one of them knew all the words to his songs! it was just amazing seeing the response he was getting from his fans. and i thought i was hard core - i dont even come close to his other fans there! the energy they gave off was just contagious and the next thing i knew, i was singing along (to all the songs that i knew), jumping around, and dancing to the music. JC's totally just so full of energy that i dont even know how he does it. it was amazing...damn, it was so good, i bought tickets for tonight's show too! we're gonna rock out one more time!!!

since i dont have a comp at home (it died - again), i have to blog here at work, soooo...here i go...

dude...it took me an hour to get home from Downey! in traffic!!! i hate traffic!!! i have so much respect for anyone that regularly communtes to work. i hate it. i've got such a big desk (YAY!), but now i've got such a long drive. bleh. boo on downey.

anyways, last night was the first time in a long time we've had our traditional LC night and it was fun. it felt like we were all just catching up. we've all be super busy in different areas that it was good just to be able to sit down and catch up like we did last night - telling stories, talking shit (to each other of course), sharing our "cheese". it was nice just being all together for once.

heh...herbie's in charge of setting up the stuff for the taping tonight, and he's now feeling what i feel every time. not enough people are going. heh. welcome to my world. it's a bitch. you can stress about finding enough people to make sure we dont get charged and we still get paid! good luck eibreh!

the last two days have been pretty good...i was in a pretty grumpy mood monday morning/afternoon cuz i was pretty stressed out about the whole taping thing. i think it was really starting to wear me down. it really sux when you put so much work into certain things and you just cant seem to get help. it really stinks. whatever, we managed to scrounge up the 5 people we needed - thanks Keith! you're a lifesaver, it was fun hanging out with you! - and the show was really good! plus we got out an hour early so that made it even better. even though there were just a few of us, we really managed to have a good time, so i'm pretty happy about that. so monday ended up being okay afterall...

yesterday was a very good day for me. it was finally a day where i got to do whatever i wanted. it was a day where i wasnt worrying about numbers, about working getting done, or about kids running around. i had a "migraine" in the morning, so i got to sleep in! Then I went shopping - Warner Bros! Connie and I headed out to Burbank to do a little dvd shopping in the morning, before having lunch with drew. After taking our time at Warner Bros, we headed home to meet up with Herbie and to pick up Nino to see...JC CHASEZ!!! it was so great. i love him. thanks again to connie and herbie for coming with me...in herbie's words, he's "not a jc supporter - (he's) a gail supporter" - and i love him (and connie) for it! i was soooo happy when we got in! i was so scared we werent gonna get into the show since there were so many screaming girls, but we were lucky and we got in, and we even got to sit together! it was great. i was really happy to get to see my absolute favorite performer! plus seeing the wayne brady show is always fun.

anyways...after our wayne brady adventures, we all headed home, and as i was getting ready to settle into a quiet night of tv watching, i got a call (or an IM) from teen to have dinner. it was pretty cool since i havent seen her in forever, so it was nice getting to meet up with her and jay just to chill, chat, and catch up. i had been feeling like i hadnt seen my friend in so long. we ended up trying a new thai place on hillhurst then chillen at swork in eagle rock for a bit. it was quite nice. it's good to catch up with your friends. so yeah...im in a good mood - this is going to be a good week. one more day and it's the jc concert!!! woohoo!!! i'm excited...

jeezzz...it's been soooo busy lately - to re-cap: Thurs - yet another taping, well, a run-through to be exact - barely made our goal of 10 people, i was scared we werent gonna make it. played poker with the SDYMers, went to bed super late - again. Fri - worked in Downey, visited the Commerce Casino (dont ask, it was on a whim), Uncle Bill and Nino arrived from Pinas. Sat - dress shopping - ghetto dogs, walking around the ghetto, bought the same dress but a different color! rushing to get ready, Anna and Phil's house,Aprille's Debut - they all did so well!, back to Anna and Phil's got home late - again. Sunday - woke up early (again), had Connie's dad change my brakes, dim sum with Connie n Drew, back home, mass, dinner at Buko with the fams...no rest i tell ya, no rest...

today i've got yet another taping planned for today, shit, im telling you these tapings are coming out of my ears! they're killing me! i've got too many of them lined up. i just got to get through a few more and we'll be good. i guess i'm just a little more stressed today than other days because i'm not sure i'm gonna get my quota of people - and i only need 5 this time! shit...i hope people end up going with us. it's gonna be terrible if we cant make it, i dont wanna have to pay when all we need is 5! i hate being reminded of why i dont wanna have to do this so much anymore...

damn my life being so busy lately...no time to really do anything for myself, i'm just tired of all this working for other things. last thurs i missed out on going to a super cool party with drew to go to a taping, and listening to him talk about it yesterday just made me a little irritated at all that i've been doing with this whole germany thing. it feels like i've been working the hardest for all this stuff...bleh...i'm just tired and i dont feel like i have any time for myself. bleh...im grouchy today and im scared we're gonna get charged tonight for not having enough people...booo on that.

it's super late, and im pretty sure i'm going to have a hard time getting up tomorrow morning, but since i had turned on my comp to check an ebay auction for celine tickets (for my dad's bday), i decided had to blog a quick little something...

well, there really isnt anything super exciting going on in my life, but i've found that i've been so busy the past few weeks. but not so busy that i cant handle it. i've been busy every weekday i have, but i find myself not being as busy on the weekends. is that supposed to mean something? most people are super busy on the weekends out doing stuff, partying and whatnot, but not i. i'm out doing all kinds of crap during the week, but my weekends? usually nothing. my life is busy, but it's definitely not exciting. dont get me wrong, i love my friends, and all the stuff i have going on, but i dont think it could be classified as glamorous or even exciting...eh, i guess i'm just passing the time...

bleh, it's late, goodnite. i have to wake up early tomorrow! actually, i need to be up in 4 hours...

we saw the Jennifer Love Hewitt project taping last night and it was really good! This is my little plug for it...if it ever does get to air (which im pretty sure it will), tune it to watch it! it was totally funny, Jennifer Love is HOT, and it has Camille from 90210 (she dated david before he and Donna got married!) who's also really funny...and BUNDY - Ed O'Neil. plus for all those sports fanatics, it had 2 super famous football players, but dont ask me who they are cuz i'm terrible with football stars! Ask Herbie cuz he got an autographed football from them! it was a good night, and we had fun...we are well on our way in our WYD 2005 fundraising!

tanya is such a bad influence! hanging out with her is just trouble. her, jay, herbie and i started off the night by doing some wedding prep. we headed out to michaels and got some stuff we needed for the invitations, then after i dropped off jay, then herbie. since tanya had been sick the past few days, the two of us decided to head out and just chill. we had planned to go to Target cuz we both needed some stuff from there, but instead decided to head to Burbank to try and catch a movie. Lo and behold, when we got to Burbank, there werent any movies showing for another hour, so we decided to head out and search for something to eat (i've pretty much given up the no eating after 6 - it's just killer). we ended up going to Fatburger cuz neither one of us had been there before, and dude, that place is good! it'll probably kill us one day, but it was worth it. so after the movie, we started feeling a little lazy and didnt want to go see the movie anymore. we ended up reverting to the original plan, but modified - we went to Target in Burbank! haahaa...i swear i saw Bob Saget there. haahaa...but whatever. tanya's trouble - i ended up spending so much money tonight! not only did i spend twice what tanya spent at target, but i also spent money at Blockbuster after - just cuz i havent been there in a long time! Damn impulse buying! hahaahaa...eh, it's okay though. we had a good time. we had fun just hanging out. i love that girl. it was a good night.

woohoo! i'm so excited! kookee and i just came home from watching the INDEPENDENT TOUR - CLAY AIKEN/KELLY CLARKSON! it was soooo much fun! i've found that my love for clay aiken has just been renewed! dude, i know, i know, not many people my age like him - shit, everyone in the crowd was either WAY older than me, or WAY younger than me, but whatever. it was sooo much fun. Clay is just so talented. contrary to what mark says - he does not always sound like he's yelling! i'm telling you! it was just really great. he really showcased his vocal skills tonight, and his musical arrangements were just on. it was great...sooo...for your viewing pleasure some pics i found...

random thoughts...

- you know it's pretty bad when you give yourself a headache - from coughing too much!
- i've got tanya's allergies - i wasnt feeling short of breath in the morning before, but this morning - i felt like i could barely breathe!
- i think my computer's starting to get lonely at home - i've barely touched it all week! it must be feeling neglected
- albertsons community giving - everyone shop at albertsons and help SDYM raise some money!...well, i have to get the ok to sign us up first!
- i hope there arent a million kids at soup supper tonight, i'm gonna end up having a hard time controlling them!
- i wanna see the Prince and Me
- $10 for all the wine you could drink last night! too bad i had to drive home - i would've been as much fun as bobby, herbie, randy, patrica, brian, and cheryl were!
- anything is fun as long as you're with your friends!
- im still super excited - i'm gonna see JC twice in one week!!! wayne brady then the concert the next day!

and most importantly...

awww...i just realized today how sad i'm going to be when we leave pasadena. i dont wanna move! im gonna need to find myself a new job here at Walnut Center so i dont have to leave! today i just ran into bola downstairs while i was in line to get lunch. im gonna miss being close enough to have lunch with him every once in a while! i'm so sad now...we're going to downey in less than a month and that means:

1. 30 minute commute
2. traffic
3. no cafeteria
4. no parking structure - just a big HOT lot!
5. no more lunches in old town
6. no more lunches at home!
7. a drastic reduction in visits from friends cuz it'll be too far for them to drive too!
8. no more carpooling with mom in the morning
9. no more bola across the street
10. no more *friends* from upstairs!!!
