went to the Yardhouse in Pasadna tonight for the first time...we fuckin waited for 2.5 hours to eat...food was good, but the wait was terrible!!! bleh on the wait...it was good times though...out with good friends that i havent seen in forever, and as an added bonus i got to play with my godson for a little bit before going out...it was fun...

went to JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE'S restaurant tonight - CHI. very chic, very trendy, very "LA". great ambiance, great service...bad food. well, not bad food, but not really authentic chinese food. it tasted more white than panda express does! and if you know me, you know how much i "like" panda...bleh. all through dinner we kept on going back and forth from saying, "we should have just eaten at Full House or Sam Woo" and "At least we can say that we've tried this place at least..."...so it's mixed reactions, good ambiance (great date place possibilities), but definitely just mediocre food...dont go there if you're looking for authentic chinese food i'll tell you that!

so i'm at work. im totally not motivated to work. i'm just hanging around here at work, definitely not working. just passing the time until 330 when i finally get to go home. just sitting around...i dont even think i've really been at my desk most of the morning. i've been roaming around the department visiting, giving out holiday greetings, seeing friends around the work areas and just stopping by for just a little chat...haahaa...and collecting gifts at the same time! haahaa...i love the holiday season!

so this weekend was pretty chill...hung out with the cousins, celebrated Jean's 24th Birthday...dude, that's one down, 2 more to go for the whole cousin birthday thing - and i'm next! dang dude...jean's birthday is always a reminder that my birthday is coming...damn, im getting old...

those crazy Case Coordination People!
haahaa...tonight was the CCC Christmas party and it was fun actually. i had expect a super boring night with the farts from work, but i was pleasantly surprised. we had a good time. jay, drew, n i picked up jane around 1830 so we could get to the Country Club a little early and it was a good thing we did! there was an open bar for the first few hours! it was great! haahaa...too bad i drove and i had to behave, but jay and drew got to take advantage of it. it was pretty good actually...we had a pretty good dinner, then it was time for those crazy CCC people to get down! haahaa...it was hilarious! we had a good time...and now im home and now it's time for me to hit the bed...nite nite...

dude, i've been trying to blog all day! it's not even that i'm busy here at work...it's just that i keep getting interrupted and sidetracked and junk like that...i just got away from nora right now for a little bit of time, so i figured i'd take the opportunity to just blog a little bit...let's see, what's been up with me...
so i still havent registered for my fall classes yet cuz im having all these problems with my financial aid, and they're not giving me enough money to cover my whole year of tuition so im about to have a heart attack. if i dont get that extra $4000 in loans (ewww...yuck, loans), i'm not gonna to be able to go to class next semester. terrible, huh? but whatever...im not gonna think about it...it's just that my meeting with Natashia (my academic counselor) went so well, i was pretty excited to register for classes, but i cant...anyways...what else happened on wednesday...had our last Confirmation class of the year. that went...okay...im just realizing that im freaking old and it's getting harder and harder for me to relate to those kiddies...oh well...oh! we went back to the NEW LC. it's been forever since we've all chilled, so we decided that it was time for us to have another LC night. we hit up BJ's in Monrovia and just chilled and talked and it was good times...
yesterday was officially dubbed WAYNE BRADY DAY! me being the hard core wayne brady fan that i am went to two - that's right, not one - but TWO tapings of the WAYNE BRADY SHOW yesterday. well, in addition to being a die hard Wayne Brady (and PETER MICHAEL ) we were in search of FREE STUFF!!! the whole christmas theme was just starting to get to us and we were determined to get stuff...haahaa...it backfired. we didnt get anything good...but it's all good...it was good times with good friends...i cant believe so many people were willing to be hard core with me and go to two tapings!!! it was fun...i love wathcing that show!
after the shows we all decided to head out to grab some food then chill at the house...it was our first ever officially dubbed "Poker Night" at the house...it was fun...i've realized that i've been spending all my time with the SDYMers. i'm not complaining...they're really great...i love hanging out with Tanya, Herbie, Bobby, Monica, and all them...it was fun...awww..Monica...i miss her...i hope she's having fun in the Philippines!
well...that's all for now, i've got another full night ahead of me tonight...it's the Case Coordination Center Christmas Party! wish me luck! i hope i have fun!

so im totally tired...i cant believe it...i actually stayed up last night to watch THE LORD OF THE RINGS: RETURN OF THE KING. dude, it was pretty packed up in there, but it was cool. teen n i had a good time just chillen and looking around at the people, and just being silly. the night out totally made up for the terrible mood i was in after the taping we saw yesterday afternoon...dude, Happy Family - that show just sux...bleh...but yah...LOTR - good movie, just a little on the long side...shit, i didnt get home until about 0430 - and to think, i had work at 0700! damn dude, i must be hard core! haahaa...it was fun...

now that i've finally found some time (well, i should be working, but im not) i guess it's time for me to re-cap my fun-filled trip to NYC!!! it was sooo much fun guys! i cant express how much fun it is, and how you all should head on over there with a few friends! it'll definitely be something to remember!
sooo...first of all - it was snowing like crazy! we were lucky enough to be there for NY's first blizzard of the season! it truly felt like a while christmas! i've never gotten a chance to fully appreciate that statement until now. it was snowing starting friday morning (our second full day there) all the way through saturday, with some serious winds going on Sunday, but we were tough and we braved the storm. it was definitely an experience...
we saw soooo many things there in New York that i'm never going to forget. it was truly an experience, from having dinner with Jay's family wed and thursday nights, to shopping in chinatown and SoHo for the best deals on thursday and "hopping on and hopping off" that big red sightseeing bus for New York tours - ground zero, st. paul's chapel, and battery park - it was definitely an adventure - trying not to get lost in new york, like that kid in home alone while trying to see as much as possible in the shortest amount of time. dude, i think we saw that rockefeller tree from just about every angle possible...it was just beautiful nonetheless...
friday was definitely our day of roaming, searching, and getting lost and "getting cultured". friday started bright and early and we tackled the "things of culture" from visiting the famous "Strawberry Fields" in memory of John Lennon (side note - our hotel was down the street from where he actually died), to the guggenheim museum and it's beautiful works of modern art to the MET and it's vast diversity in art, to ending the day with dinner at the NYC Hard Rock Cafe and watching The Boy From Oz with Hugh Jackman (damn, that's one handsome man!)...what a day.
saturday was the day of adventure...we went in search for places to shop and more places to visit. we saw the world famous Rockettes in their Christmas Spectacular Show, the Rockefeller Center tour (with a cute tour guide!), and lunch at the Center, mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral, roaming around Times Square, Madame Toussads Wax Museum, and the getting lost in our mad search for Serendipity...that was ridiculous...we had the hardest time finding that place!!!
and comes to sunday...what a day...we finally found Serendipity. and we found the chelsea market which we were in search of cuz kuya phil (jay's brother) supposedly found the best brownies there at Fat Witch...then we headed back to the hotel to pack before we met up with connie, ric, amy, aris, n mimi at the empire state building for a quick tour and dinner...that was fun...then it was over...our trip was over so fast...im gonna miss new york!
sooo...i've given you all a lot of eye candy - lotsa links, so maybe you'll feel like you went on a little tour with me...haahaa...but yah, you can see everything i've put out...besides, i've got 4 rolls of fill to develop and you'll definitely get a chance to see my pics! but that is all...now i've been blogging for way too long, i better get some work done...
