N Rage has temporary color in the form of a spray. It comes in five colors, N Black, N Tense Blue, N Tense Pink, N Tense Red, and N Purple. It's simple to use and it washes out the next time you shampoo. If your hair is especially porous, it may become stained with the color. This works best on light-colored hair.

Many other companies make temporary color sprays. They usually have them available in party stores, especially around halloween. You should also be able to find some wherever they sell hair dye, including online shops.

Not too long ago, Got2B came out with a line of colored spiking gel called ColorHeads. It works just like regular spiking glue or gel would, except it leaves color in your hair wherever you put it. Colored spiking glues show up well on darker hair with no pre-lightening required. Got2B makes seven different colors, including Blue Thunder, Screaming Blonde, Raging Red, Green Envy, Metallic Purple, Smashing Orange, and White Lightening.

Like sprays, there are a lot of different temporary gels/glues around. Haircare companies have noticed the trend and cashed in on making their own glues. I personally don't see a difference in quality, just color. Different companies make different colors.

Spiking glues are sold almost everywhere. In the drugstore, grocery store, hair salon, Hot Topic, beauty supply stores, department stores like Wal Mart, etc. They are also in most online shops.
