clothing 2 final project
this is my final project from clothing studio 2. it was inspired by the Bjork song Joga. the top is this really cool double-sided cotton. the contrast pink areas are all just the reverse side of the blue fabric. the skirt is made out of this gorgeous silk with the most faint 1 1/2" wide stripes. then i hand stitched feathers to the back of some of the skirt pieces. i'm crazy, i know. :)
back detail
this is the back of the top. one of the lines in the song is state of emergency, so haha i put a cross on the back like the red cross. yah, it's kinda dumb. but it looks cool :). also a little beading at the inside corners of the cross. lady that i bought them from followed me around her store the whole time i was there like i was gonna steal something and then got frustrated when i didn't make up my mind in the first five minutes. crazy child.
cardcaptor sakura costume
oh i forgot the wand! oh well. it's really awesome - almost perfect, actually. but this is my very first real cosplay costume. of course, i had to do the honors to sakura-chan, because her and her costumes are a couple of the biggest reasons i finally got into anime. :D this turned out pretty well.
