Under the universe,
The stars lie bright as gold,
Waiting for the new day to begin.
They watch over us while we rest our body’s for just a little while.
God watches us all too,
He wakes us up in the morning,
To tell us that he has granted us one more day on this earth.
Although our lives are short,
We are grateful for each day we are loved.
We shouldn’t take this life for granted,
Although most do.
We all know that we grow one day closer,
Closer to the day he calls us up,
To start a new life,
As a stunning star watching over us at night.
