Chapters I read

You were a chapter in my life
I had read slowly and several times
Smiling to myself
Feeling as if I was perfect

But soon,
I was trapped to read you again and again,
Now what had made me smile,
Made me feel this emptiness
Inside.

But with much effort,
I learned to let you go.
Your chapter was closed
And could no longer hurt me.

But you decided to open an old wound.
You wanted me to read you again,
With the smile from what seemed was
A thousand years ago.

You forced to visit the past
I had tried to escape
And leave behind.

You may need me in your life
And sometimes I think I need you.
But Michael my dear,
The pain is still here.
