2003-2005 International School - China (Eagles)
I am teaching middle schoolers social studies. The sixth graders are learning world history. The seventh graders are learning
world geography, and the eighth graders are learning Chinese history. Last semester I taught the eighth graders U.S. history.

2002-2003 Foreign Language Institute - Chonan, South Korea
It was quite an experience teaching English to Korean children. My youngest students were in kindergarten, and my oldest students were 16.
Classes ranged anywhere from three students to 12, and I usually taught 20 hours a week. The younger kids were fascinated with my body hair
and often played with the hairs on my arms. Although I'm not the hairest guy in the world, I tend to be hairier than the average Korean man. :)

1997-2002 Frankfort Middle School - Frankfort, IN (Hot Dogs)
I taught geography to sixth graders on the Nighthawk team. I absolutely loved this job. With the help of of a young lady named Bethany Kester, I
started the girls hs soccer team in 98. I also assisted the wrestling and track/field squads for several years.

1997 Children's Home - Lebanon, IN
I taught U.S. government, current events, and world geography to grades 6-12.

1996-1997 Danville High School - Danville, IN (Warriors)
I took a big paycut to tutor students here, but this school was a much better fit for me.

1996 Southport High School - Southport, Indiana (Cardinals)
I taught emotionally disturbed students algebra, U.S. history, and English.

1995 Danville HS/Tri-West Jr/Sr High - Danville & Lizton, Indiana (Warriors/Bruins)
This is where I did my student teaching. I taught U.S. history and geography at Danville
(10 weeks) and U.S. history to 8th graders at Tri-West (six weeks). Student teaching at Tri-West
made me realize that I wanted to teach at the middle school level. I was also the first girls hs
soccer coach at Danville. We finished the regular season defeating my alma mater, Avon, 3-2
on their senior night. That gave us a season record of 6-5. The win meant so much to me.
I applied to be the coach for the Avon HS girls team, but I failed to receive an interview.

1993-1995 IUPUI - Indianapolis, Indiana (Jaguars)
When I attended IUPUI, our mascot was the Metro. I think the mascot was changed because no
one knew what a Metro was! After transferring here, I became involved in a variety of activities
- Peer Mentor Coordinator for the School of Education, Orientation Leader, and started coaching
soccer again (U10 coed rec & U14 girls club teams).

1991-1993 Purdue University - West Lafayette, Indiana (Boilermakers)
I was a quad dog. I roomed w/ one of my buddies from hs for the first three semesters.
During my last semester at Purdue, Tony got an internship, and I got a new roommate from NY.
Eric and I got along fine, but we didn't spend a lot of time together. He wrestled for Purdue,
and I spent much of my time weight training, studying, and attending b-ball games.

1978-1981, 1982-1989, 1990-1991 Avon School Corportion - Indiana (Orioles)

I really enjoyed attending Avon. The school corporation has certainly grown since I graduated.

They recently built a brand new high school (in addition to a fifth elementary school). The high
school I attended is now the middle school, and the middle school is now the intermediate school.

1989-1990 Roosevelt Roads Middle/High School - Roosevelt Roads Naval Station, Puerto Rico (Panthers)

This was a very small American school. My graduating class was less than 30 students.

1981-1982 Escola International Do Vale Do Paraeba - Brazil I really enjoyed attending this school because of the diverse student body.
