The picture at the top of the page is of me at Burela's (Funky Chicken's)! We'd been drinking a little which explains the boxes.... mmm NEway! Hey and Kirkby's in the background, and matt too!

March 2nd, 2004

Heya people.. Damn that song has ruined my greetings permanently (Heya :() Anyhoo, I'm at uni at the moment in one of my annoying 3 hour breaks, which i'm sure will become useful once the assignments start comming in, but for now they're just annoying! Just been to the ref, but noone's in there who I know, or at least I couldn't distinguish them from the field of faces!

Ooh, and slightly off topic, it's my brother's 18th in 19 days!! Scary!! I guess I should start thinking about what to get him! HmMm..

Cat Empire are on at the Uni Bar this Thursday, but they're sold out, so I guess I'll be having a quiet one heh.

O week was last week, err just incase anyone missed it! It was alright, I was working a fair bit so didn't get to enjoy it fully, but Monday nite at the oval was cold, but fun! Missed the champagne brekky tho :( too tired/hungover lolz

January 15, 2004

Well, Happy New Year!

Once again been a while.. Spent my new years' period at the Falls Festival in Marion Bay, I got in by way of free ticket for volunteer work and a free greeen t-shirt hehe. My job was to help out with 'Vehicle Inspection' which was fun, apart from the mid-30 something weather... eek and the dust! lol The shower facilities there consisted of a sprinkler...LOL And the toilets, well, lets just say I'll never look at a wheelie bin in the same way again! lolz Apart from that it was awesome! Highlights were Cog, Regurgitator, Reel Big Fish, Gerling and of course (I hugged Michael Franti!!) Spearhead :) I was still of course mighty glad to get home and have a propper *long and warm* shower!! hehe

Next big event is I'm off to Melbourne over the long Australia Day weekend, won't be attending Big Day Out unfortunately tho as I spent the money on actually getting over there! lol But keeping with tradition, i'll be on the mainland for the hottest 100 ;)

November 19, 2003

Ahhh wisdom teeth come out in less than 48 hours!

Greetings children of the web, who come and read little glimpses of my thinkings and babble :) Just got wisdom teeth on my mind at the moment, so sorry, this will be another uneventful entry lol Ooh, tomorrow arvo I'm meeting up with Paul (jesus) for lunch with Matt C, Simon, Rich and Lennay.. we're all going for lunch.. except me who has to fast for 24 hours before sugery and therefore will just sip quietly (heh, me be with ppl quietly??) on whatever yummy beverage I can get!! :) Wish me luck everyone, and start making soup - I'm gonna need it! ;)

November 6, 2003

Well. *tries to adapt to having soo much spare time!* Exams are over (for me at least :p) and nearly finished for everyone else. The date is set for my wisdom teeth to come out *eek* that is the 21st of November, so i'll be nice and out of pain ready for Christmas and whatever else these next months bring. As usual, not only does it rain occasionally (so to metaphorically speak) it's pouring again! Don't really know where to start on that one, but one big thing that I might as well mention is *yes* the rumours are true, you heard it first here... Jaidev and I HAVE broken up - so stop asking dammit! :p In the middle of exams too might I add!! HmMm It's been nearly two weeks since that happened tho so I can talk about it now which is nice.. now that exams have *finished* hmm anyhoo.

I am sitting here at my Dads at the moment and can smell roast chicken cooking, it's weird not having to cook dinner for myself (Mum's away at the moment) and weirder still to be eating after 7 days of not, everything has sooo much flavour!! lol Kitten still has his umm very *bright* pink collar (his punishment for loosing the first two!!) and is seeming quite happy :) I went walkies with Rich today to Taroona along the water from Nutgrove, bit hung over today tho as we *stupidly* (his idea!!!) got a cask of Goon last nite lol bleh

Ooh, I'm working at the market this Saturday heh yay money is good, although I'm not sure what I'm saving for yet, I guess it's nearly Christmas.. Well anyway, before I start rambling about Christmas shopping and strange weather patterns I think i'll go and have a cuppa coffee :)

September 21, 2003

A lovely day :)

September 5, 2003

Oh of course, why didn't I think of that? All my science questions answered by a Flying Turtle? LOL isn't it funny what the net will come up with when u search for independant and dependant variables? http://www.ftexploring.com ...

September 2, 2003

"So uni is like a public toilet you say?" "No, it's the opposite, it likes to give shit, but doesn't take any". Hehe, read that on a wall thismorning. Graffitti is so funny sometimes :)

D'oh it's raining... gotta go home soon *soo sick of essays* i'm not in an arguementative mood atm! No i'm not, yes i am, NO! lol see isn't it stupid that I have to present an arguement on a piece of paper to hand in to be marked... and noone is EVER going to argue back with me! Silly.

Hmm, poor Rich was looking foward to The Herd comming to Hobart, but unfortunately it was cancelled and they didn't bother to mention it on the website!! More Silly!

August 21, 2003

Today has been sooo much better than yesterday. I guess we all have *those* days, and yesterday was mine! Just shows how much can change so fast. =) Take each day as it comes, and remember; if the world didn't suck, we'd fall off.

August 8, 2003

Well, I can't say that I ever really give too much of a damn to current affairs most of the time, especially when it comes to reports about Iraq, September 11 and the Bali bombings, mainly because I don't know out of all the stories going around what to actually believe. The sentancing to death of Amrozi is no exception.

"Amrozi, known as the smiling assassin, was the first of the Bali bombers to be convicted and sentenced to death for his role in the blasts that killed 202 people, including 88 Australians, last October.

"It's sensational, it's a weight off my shoulders," Amrozi told reporters when asked in Denpasar about the verdict and sentence."

Now what's the bet that he is actually smiling so much, because he know's he's innocent, but is pretending to be guilty? LOL I know that sounds weird, and usually I don't pay any attention to conspiracy theories, But... the same report quotes that "Amrozi's defence team said it would appeal the sentence, even though Amrozi did not want to do so. Amrozi has said that he wants to die a martyr."

Ah yes, now what's that about then??

He could be smiling because he's proud of what he did (if he did it) but with those terrorist people, I wouldn't be so sure..

July 23, 2003

LOL right, the things that become "news": Aussies get safe text message: Australians are being urged to practise safe text, with five billion mobile text messages predicted to be sent in Australia next year and a current rate of 300 million messages a month...

"With five billion mobile text messages predicted to be sent in Australia next year and a current rate of 300 million messages a month, the Chiropractors Association of Australia (CAA) and Virgin Mobile have announced a National Day of Safe Text ."!!!

"safe text is great text". "We recognise that if you text regularly, it's important to look after your thumbs, fingers and neck and back so you can get the most out of your text life," Dr Ierano said. "With text messaging on the increase, it's important that everyone knows how to text safely - no matter how old you are." (CAA vice president Dr Joseph Ierano)

July 22, 2003

Well, we all know Kate hasn't been herself lately, but then again when have I been 'myself'? Self is an interesting concept really, it's kind of relative; to where you are, and who you are around.

A man sits with a pretty girl for an hour, it seems like a minute. He sits on a hot stove for a minute, it's longer than any hour. That is relativity. -- Albert Einstein

July 2, 2003

Here are some thoughts for today because I'm trying not to think myself! ;)

It is easier to get forgiveness than permission...

Never knock on Death's door - ring the doorbell and run!

Just remember, if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.

It's hard to make a comeback when you haven't been anywhere.

:)

June 30, 2003

Well I am now 19... Doesn't feel any different!! Except I'm not in my usual state :p Hmm well the thunder storms which have been happening for the last 4 days have finally stopped (creepy, but exciting things that they are)and now it is kinda sunny, kinda cloudy and not particularly warm.. reminds me of home :)

Well, it's Monday.. Tomorrow and Thursday nite I have to babysit a 7 year old again... Zelda here we come! (again) :/ Blah!

I think I might try and do something interesting today! That way I can have something else other than 7 year old boys to talk about :p ciao

June 14, 2003

Happy Birthday Ian, we still think of you, even two years on.

Oh here I am! :)

Well 3 down and one to go, exams that is!! Geography is the last of them :D.

Dammit lol, burnt myself twice in two days!! I should've known that if the metal is glowing orange on my heater, it means burnies if I touch it...

Hmm, now lets talk about dreams.. I have had reoccurring dreams for the past week all involving fruit of unusual sizes!! The first was somehow involving smaller-than-usual paw paw fruits, the second was of a farm that grew strawberries that were at least 40cm long! *yum* And last was of some sort of boarding school where outside grew apple trees, with apples the size of basket balls! So, what does this all mean? Well according to one site Fruit represents abundance and prosperity. As a result of the seeds that they carry, they may also represent new beginnings. In biblical stories, mythology and literature in general, fruits have enjoyed much symbolic meaning. They may represent sexual desires and the search for wealth and immortality. In order to understand the meaning of the fruit in your dreams, consider your current strivings and psychological space. Also, consider whether the fruit was ripe, rotting or bitter. All of the details will help you to understand whether you have a lustful heart, are at a new frontier, or have missed opportunities for growth and pleasure.

Hmmmm not that I can think of!! OMG, this is what I dreamt! According to another site "To see or eat ripe fruit, signifies uncertain fortune and pleasure." Hmmmmmmmmmm sounds like fun! ;)

May 22, 2003

Well it's been a while... That's because I've been flat-out at uni!! Exams start in about 2 weeks - then HOLIDAYS!! :D And I'm going away again, which means mid-July there'll be more pics on here (hopefully) *yay* hehe. Well nothing more to say really, other than Happy Birthday to Mathew for next Thurs... Hmm, a thought I experienced the other day... Does Anyone Still look at this Site??? Please let me know if anyone does, because in that case I would attempt to make my babbling *slightly* more readable lol righty, the email address is abalone43@hotmail.com :)

March 27, 2003

WHAT IS THIS KITTEN'S NAME???

Hello all, I have recently had this beautiful little boy come into my life to live pre-dominantly in the bathroom... but what of a name?? It's pretty much the first question everyone asks me when I tell them the good news.. and what a difficult question it is prooving to answer! Here he is anyway: Jullian, Max, Thumper, Little Turd, Bengal, Kitten or whatever else you might want to call him...

But I can't find anything! lol Anyway, enough about that!

Hehe, a little earlier today I came across a whole bunch of pick-up lines (don't ask me where!! :p) here are a couple that I can remember!

* Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk past again? * Oh those are shoulder blades, I thought they might be wings.. * (grab their butt and ask) Is this seat taken? * Ten Tonne Polar Bear (what??) TEN TONNE POLAR BEAR (err, sorry??) It was an ice-breaker.. * I've lost my phone number, can I have yours? * I'm new in town, can I have some directions to your house? * Here's 40 cents, now go and call your Mum and tell her you won't be home tonite.

LOL okay enuff of that!! BTW, use those at your own risk!! ;)

The Spider by Michelle Once there was a spider. Her name was Spinny. She spun a silky web. A fly came by and got caught in the web. "Mmmmmmmmmmmm", she said." It's breakfast." She drank up all the blood. "All done", she said ."Yum ,yum!" she said in a sweet voice. Another fly came by and her one and only friend came by too. He said, "Let it go please!" to her. "NO!!" she yelled. She was so hungry. The End

NOTE: The following contents may destroy all childhood memories of Winnie The Pooh, so if you really care don't read it!!

POOH GOES APESHIT By A.A. Milne

Everything was rather quiet in the hundred acre wood. The trees whispered to each other as the wind rustled their leaves. Under a large oak tree, there lived Pooh bear. From inside Pooh's house, there came a steady bang...bang... bang!, that was making his honey jars rattle on the sideboard. The light came through the window, and in the evening sun Pooh raised the axe once more and brought it down on the tattered remains of Christopher Robin. "Why...won't... he...fit..." puffed Pooh to himself as the axe came down once more. There was a small pile of earth, and a hole next to it, which Pooh had hidden with his favourite rug. Christopher Robin, selfish prat that he was, didn't quite fit in the hole Pooh had dug, so instead of making it wider he had decided to hack Christopher Robin's legs off. "A far more sensible idea", thought Pooh, and hummed a little song to himself as he cut the last tendon and rammed the rest of the body in the hole, finally covering it up with the rug. "Always too bossy", thought Pooh, "Always too bossy, always grabbing me by the paw and saying 'Come on Pooh lets have an adventure' or 'Pooh you are silly!' in that affected cutesy spoilt brat voice, and his stupid little shorts - bastard!"

Pooh had waited all afternoon for Christopher Robin to come round, humming a little tuneless song to himself whilst gazing blankly into the fire and fondling the oaken handle of the axe. When C.R. had finally turned up, squeaking in his child-actor voice "Come on Pooh! Open Up!", Pooh had answered the door normal as anything, talked about the weather, and then went to the cupboard and fetched the axe. While C.R. had sat there, prattling on about what a silly bear Pooh was and how he had very little brain (which wound Pooh up no end) Pooh had raised the axe high and brought it down with a satisfying thud on Christopher Robin's skull, cleaving it virtually in two, with just some muscle fibre in place to keep the pieces upright, and freezing C.R's eyes wide in horror that Pooh, lovable Pooh, could do such a thing! Pooh giggled a little and wiped some saliva from his mouth with a shaky paw. Then Pooh, calm as anything, had mopped up the blood, washed the axe and begun to dig the hole.

Piglet had wondered why Pooh had not called for him that morning, to have his tea and biscuits, and so he decided to visit Pooh instead. He admired the evening sun, blood red, and listened to the birds singing. Pooh watched him get nearer and nearer, and plugged in the drill. Piglet had no time to realise what had happened - the drill pierced his skull, sending a beautiful fountain of blood all over Pooh's orange hide. He rubbed the blood in and all over himself, licking, licking, always licking. Then he pulle d Piglet inside and put him in the cupboard. The syringe lay on the sideboard, and Pooh picked it up, paws shaking and sweating, and filled it full of solution of the funny white powder that had been given to him by a strangely spaced-out Rabbit. It was a strange effect at first, and Pooh thought he had seen many strange things, but then experienced a euphoric feeling of power. It made him irritable, and C.R. and Piglet had everything that was coming to them, no doubt at all. When night had fully fallen, Pooh dragged the bodies out and buried them in a makeshift grave. "Adios, dear 'friends'", Pooh giggled, "Things are going to change around the 100-acre wood now I'm in charge" he laughed hysterically and went indoors. The next day Tigger and Roo made their way happily to Pooh's house, to see if he knew where C.R. and Piglet were, as no-one had seen them since yesterday. They were sure Pooh would know, as he had had tea with Piglet yesterday and was meant to be playing Pooh-sticks with C.R. in the morning. When they reached Pooh's house the door was wide open and Pooh was nowhere to be seen. Tigger and Roo looked inside Pooh's house and noticed a large hole in Pooh's floor and a notice was stuck on the wall with a large blob of congealing honey "OWT CHAGIG THE DRAGGN" (spelling had never been one of Pooh's strong points). "That's odd", though Tigger, "there are no dragons in the 100-acre wood only heffalumps. What _is_ that silly bear up to now?" Not even Tigger would have imagined what Pooh was up to at that moment. That morning Pooh had woken with a splitting headache and a rather snotty nose. So he had taken a large dose of the white powder and a little while later had a brilliant idea! He left the house with a container marked INSECTICIDE in big red letters.

He took the container and went to Eeyor's favourite patch of thistles. "This will serve that manic depressive donkey right" laughed Pooh aloud, "always cheating at Pooh-sticks, cheats never prosper", Pooh said to himself. Then he hid behind a tree to watch the unsuspecting Eeyor eat himself to death - sheer poetic justice thought Pooh as he dumped the nearly dead body of Eeyor in the same grave as C.R. and Piglet - "Shouldn't cheat should you?", shouted Pooh as Eeyor's eyes stared with disbelief - "You're lucky I didn't chop you up into little bits and feed you to Tigger!", laughed Pooh manically, before he covered the makeshift grave over.

Pooh didn't return to the house until dinner time as he was totally spaced out by ll in the morning. So when he returned to his house he was in an awful mood and all he needed to make him absolutely mad was the sight of Tigger and Roo bouncing up and down outside his house singing "bouncy, bouncy, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, the wonderful....". "'Wonderful'?", thought Pooh aloud, "My foot, you'd think the writer of this shitty story could think up better lyrics for a song than that, and to think, they released the soundtrack album on cassette and CD; a lot of people are going to get ripped off." This lightened Pooh's mood somewhat, but the respite was brief. "What was that you said?", asked Roo. "God does he never stop asking pathetic questions?", Pooh thought furiously, "I'm going to have to deal with these prats as well. Is there no-one in this place with intelligence apart from me?" Pooh asked despairingly." Pooh felt himself extremely lucky as Roo had to go home for his afternoon sleep and that left Tigger at his mercy. Even better, Tigger suggested that himself and Pooh go and play Pooh-sticks; Pooh had smiled slyly as an idea formed in his overactive brain, and agreed - "What an opportunity", Pooh whispered to himself as he followed the innocent Tigger to the bridge.

Once on the bridge, and the rather pointless game of Pooh-sticks was under way, Pooh thought he'd much rather push his stick up Tigger's arse, rather than throwing it into the stream. Tigger was leaning over the side of the bridge looking for his stick. So he did not see Pooh's wide horrific grin as he outstretched his arms and moved toward Tigger with the intent of pushing the stupid cat into the stream - "Cats hate water, tee hee, he'lldrown." There was a loud splash as Tigger hit the water and started to struggle as his head was covered by water, he gulped and choked. Pooh was holding on to the rail of the bridge and jumping up and down with excitement and was joyously shouting at the drowning Tigger. "Why?", spluttered Tigger as he slowly started to turn blue with the cold, which Pooh found hysterical, after all a blue Tigger?? How absolutely silly. "I'll tell you why you bastard", screamed Pooh, "It serves you right, hiding behind doors and jumping out, and scaring the shit out of people." But Tigger did not hear Pooh's answer as he was already floating downstream face down in the water, dead - "Good riddance", laughed Pooh.

By the time Pooh got home he had puked up several times and was very desperate for some more of the white solution. He trembled as he picked up the syringe and gave himself the remaining amount. An awfully large amount, one might say, for a small little bear like Pooh. In fact too much, Pooh died of an overdose, but he died with a smile on his face: he was dreaming that he was the only teddy bear made with a willy and dreamed how he surprised Eeyor one day - but that's a story for another day.

September 16??, 2002

Well it's only Monday and already I am run off my size 8's! Now for some funky schitt!
WHO IS JACK SCHITT?
The lineage is finally revealed. Many people are at a loss for a response when someone says "You don't know Jack Schitt." Now you can intellectually handle the situation.
Jack is the son of Awe Schitt and O.Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, married O.Schitt, the daughter of Kneedeep N. Schitt. They had one son, Jack. In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt. The deeply religious couple produced 6 children: Holie Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Giva Schitt, Bull Schitt, and the twins: Deep Schitt and Dip Schitt.
Against her parents objections, Deep Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high school drop out.
After being married 15 years, Jack and Noe Schitt divorced. Noe Schitt later married Ted Sherlock and, because her kids were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. She was then known as Noe Schitt-Sherlock.
Meanwhile, Dip Schitt married Loda Schitt and they produced a son of nervous disposition, Chicken Schitt.
Two other of the 6 children, Fulla Schitt and Giva Schitt, were inseparable throughout childhood and subsequently married the Happens brothers in a dual ceremony. The wedding announcement in the newspaper announced the Schitt-Happens wedding.
The Schitt-Happens children were Dawg, Byrd, and Hoarse.
Bull Schitt, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. He recently returned from Italy with his new Italian bride, Pisa Schitt.
So now when someone says, "You don't know Jack Schitt," you can correct them.
