Some of my favorite teachers were Melissa Binns, Ms. Cerveny, Beth Stoddard, Annette King, Coach Bob Fiset, Virginia Allison, Wilfred Blanchard, David Slate, Coach Dag, and even Mr. McKenna who made me sit next to him facing the class! I wonder if he knew I had the combination to his briefcase? Security will be provided for those teachers who think they may need it!
Quote from Mr. Blanchard when he would ask a question that no one wanted to answer:
"Silence reins and nobody gets wet."
Random notes: I was the bartender for Annette King's 40th Birthday party some years ago. Coach Fiset was there along with some other teachers from Glenbrook that I can't remember now. Coach was still wearing those leather pants from the 70s. Just kidding Bob. More recently I ran into Melissa Binns {Art at Glenbrook} in the supermarket and when I approached her she curtly said, "Oh no! Don't tell me you were one of my students. You're too old." UGH. She ducked around the corner of the aisle and we ran into each other again at the end of the next aisle and she stopped me and said, "Ok, who are you?" We had a really nice talk. She looked great.
