Hi Everyone, I am not a graduate of LHS - I moved away at the end of my sophmore year - I have no connections to the High School I did graduate from and all my school day memories are from LHS. Maureen Dowd directed me to your site - it's great. I've looked at all the pictures and remember many faces that bring back great memories. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me. Take care.
Alison Reece 13/Jun/2002:17:25:59
I really enjoyed looking at this web site! I guess I'm feeling
particularly nostalgic lately- I don't know if it's turning 40... or
the events of 9-11, but anyway, it was great looking back and hearing
what everyone is doing. Thanks!
Rick Scanlon 11/Apr/2002:16:38:40
Nice job on your site ! Can't belive how old you all look....LOL.
Really was neat to see all those faces from way back. keep up the nice job.
Rick.
Larry North 22/Mar/2002:00:01:10
Jay - great site! I accidentally stumbled upon the site at work last
week, and really enjoyed seeing the 20th reunion pics. I gotta get out
there in 2004 for the 25th party. I'm out on the left coast, living in
quaint San Juan Capistrano with my wife, Marilyn, son "Scorpio", and
daughter "Ashley". So many memories were sparked going through the
photos: friends, parties, memorable teachers (Mr. Potvin and
his "cigarette bizarre"), and fun events. Hope to see y'all soon - if
you are ever in So. Cal (a few of you already are), please look me up!

If only I knew then what I know now.... So amazing to see all those
names and faces from the past. Wish I could have been there, but I live
a few thousand miles away and just couldn't make it. In retrospect and
comparison, the LHS class of '79 was really special and I certainly
enjoyed it.
Have been living in Jerusalem, Israel for the past 20 years. Have four
boys aged 0,3,6 ---&--- 8. Work as a high tech (what's left of it)
entrepreneur. Sold last company and now starting antoher. Looking for
Jim Allyn, Matt Barez, David Glaser and all others who I may have left
out. Would love to hear from any and all of you. Clearly if you happen
to find yourself suddenly wandering aroudn downtown Jerusalem, please
look me up.
Sorry gotta go... looks like tis time for a packy-run.

Hello classmates of 1979 !!! And Jay you did an excellent job on this
website, congratulations! Sorry I missed the reunion. I live in Columbia
South Carolina and have done so now since 1979. After graduation, I have
been working with the developmentally disabled for many years in a
variety of positions. Would love to hear from anyone who remembers me!
Cathy LaFrance Wolons 25/Nov/2001:22:32:23
Great job with the website, Jay! I wish I could have gone to the
reunion. I plan on going to the 25th. I live in Middletown NY, married,
have 3 girls-Aimee (17) a senior! talk about bringing back memories!
Allison (14) and Laura (13). Being the mother of 3 teenage girls is
probably the biggest challenge of my life! I work as a Registered Nurse
at a local hospital on the maternity floor and love it. Does anyone
know where Lori Bocchino is? Love to hear from anyone!
Lynn Thompson 11/Nov/2001:11:32:55
Hi, everyone. Sorry I missed the reunion. I still live in Longmeadow
and I am a Captain on the fire department in town and a Paramedic. Hope
to make the 25th reunion. Bye for now.
Terry Little 18/Sep/2001:19:50:05
Didn't know that I was among the missing...sorry I missed the reunion
in 1999. Still in the Bay State, living in Brookline with wife and two
boys, ages 4 and 2. I'm a urologic surgeon at the Winchester Hospital
in Winchester, MA. Any other urologists out there in the class of '79?
Any plans yet for the 25th?
MICHAEL McCAULEY 19/Apr/2001:06:06:26
I WANTED TO SAY HI TO EVERYONE. I WISH I COULD HAVE BEEN AT THE
REUNION. I DIDN'T KNOW I WAS ON THE MIA LIST. I'M LIVING IN BOYNTON
BEACH FLORIDA. IT'S 20 MINUTES NORTH OF FORT LAUDERDALE. I HAVE BEEN
MARRIED FOR THE 15 YEARS. I HAVE TWO KIDS AGES 14 AND 10. I WORK FOR A
ELECTRONICS DISTRIBUTOR. I AM THE SHIPPING/RECIEVING/QUALITY CONTROL
MANAGER. I REALLY ENJOYED LOOKING AT THE REUNION PICTURES. IT DID BRING
BACK ALOT OF MEMORIES. IF ANYONE GETS DOWN THIS WAY LOOK ME UP, I'M IN
THE BOOK. TAKE CARE, HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL AT THE NEXT REUNION.
Jay Holsing 03/Jan/2001:20:14:52
Hey there Classmates,
Please let us know what you're up to. Don't forget to post a link to
your personal or business website. I am always looking for more images
to post too. Have fun and Happy Birthday to all you 40 year olds!!!

I stumbled on this website and have been reading every inch for the
last few hours. What a great job you have done. I didn't graduate in
Longmeadow, I moved to Maine after my sophomore year. I feel like an
alumni though since living on Whitman Rd. for almost 13 years. It was
great seeing everyone I knew, you all look terrific. I would like to
get Dina Radner's email address if anyone has it. My best to everyone.

I'm no longer missing. Stumbled of the Website today, and realy enjoyed
being able to see everyone have such a terific time at the reunion.
Wish I was there to catch up and share news. I'll make it back for the
25th...promise. I been living outside St Paul, Minnesota with my
husband, Dave, for the last 10 years. We spend most of our time
entertaining and being entertained by our son, Scott...nearly 4 years
old. I work for an insurance defense firm in St Paul. We love the Twin
Cities, but do miss family and friends. My mother lives in Chatham,
now, so when we get back a couple times a year we have a great place to
visit and spend lot's of time sailing and at the beach. Dave's family
is in Michigan and California, so we travel there alot too. Looking
forward to an early retirement back in Massachusets!
Meredith Chase Batta 04/Dec/2000:19:41:47
Greetings! Wow, what fun to catch up with folks over the miles and the
years. Sure wish I could have been at the party, but hope to be there
next time. Been living in San Diego for 17 years doing lots of
interesting jobs, but now I'm homeschooling my three kids, which seems
like too many jobs at once. Take care and call if you are in sunny San
Diego!
Ricky Bontempo 04/Dec/2000:14:41:35
Hey everyone-nice to see some of you at the reunion,I think I remember
most of you.Back living in the "ghetto" after 11 yrs down in
Miami,Fl.where I started my High school Science teaching career. In my
15'th year now, teaching in Hartford Ct.
Recently bought my family home back on Glenwood circle,if anyone's
in the area, feel free to stop by.See you at the 25"th?
Judy Raibeck (Goldstein} 10/Oct/2000:20:44:34
Hi everyone! I just found out I was on the "missing in action" list.
The 20th reunion photos look great...sorry I missed it. I will
definitely try for the 25th! After living in Connecticut for awhile and
then California, I am settling back in New England...Westfield. I am a
Special Education Teacher at The Career and Technical Education Center
in Chicopee, a vocational high school. I would love to hear from any
alumni, since I haven't kept in touch with anyone...shame on me!
David Boudreaux 26/Aug/2000:20:39:06
Update: As of August 2000 my family and I live in the Miami/FT.
Lauderdale area of Florida. If anyone lives in, or comes to visit, this
area, look me up.

Through the Looking Glass: On a recent disc golf trip to Lake Tahoe,
a friend of mine asked, "When did all my friends become middle aged?"
Yes folks, we are all a little older, but hopefully wiser with the
years. It was wonderful to see the web page of the 20-year reunion. I
am not officially a member of this graduating class, having added an
extra year of high school to be with my then-girlfriend, which in
retrospect doesn't seem too bright. However, I have little affinity for
the Class of '80 and I am truly a '79er and wish to be included as such.
I was in Longmeadow this summer for the wedding of my sister Lisa
and the town has changed little, as to be expected. I'm in the San
Francisco Bay Area with my wife Kathy and 3-year-old daughter Laurel.
We moved out here 10 years ago and love it. I'm still in touch with a
lot of LHS graduates, but find it hard to get back home more than once
a year. So, for those who want to check out the source, drop me an
email and visit us in Be

Iam not from the class of "79" however I would like to say hello to all
my old friends back home. I live in Santa Monica, Ca. with my 15 year
old daughter. Iam in the building business and enjoy everything about
living out here. Iam trying to locate Anne Mackay if any one has any
info let me know. Hope to be back in Longmeadow in the Fall. Teri.
Keith Hoovis 23/Apr/2000:12:24:16
It brings back many memories looking over this website. I think you
did a great job with it. I have been out of touch with Longmeadow for
a long time. I am happily married with two boys ages 11 and 13 and
living in Idaho. We live about an hour and a half from Jackson Hole,
Sun Valley and Yellowstone National Park. The skiing is incredible.
We probably went for the last time this spring on April 22nd. It is
amazing how life changes after high school. Hope to make the 25th.
Dawn Elliott Smart 20/Apr/2000:03:05:20
Great website. The pictures brought back a lot of memories. I'd love
to see the Williams Middle School pictures (excluding mine, of course!).
I live Greensboro, NC and adore the sunny South. I hope to make it to
the next reunion - it looks like this last one was awesome. I can't
believe it has been over 20 years since we graduated!
Kathy Shine 14/Apr/2000:08:56:06
Thanks for the site, I'm sure it's a lot of work to maintain but it was
nice to able to attend the reunion, even if it was only a virtual visit
(thanks for fixing up the glitches for us die-hard Netscape users). I'm
doing well, working like crazy and finding it hard to believe how fast
time goes by...saw 8 Springsteen shows in the past year and I just can't
get over the fact that I first saw him more 20 years ago...Nov 79. Damn,
we're old!
Paul C. Stewart 06/Apr/2000:07:24:22
Wow! What a great web site Jay! Sorry I was not able to make it to
the reunion, it looks like I missed out. I am still happily married to
Sunny and we now have 4 boys (Zachary 7, Grant 6, Noah 4, and Wyatt 1),
no more! We just moved back to the DC area (Alexandria, VA) and hope
to get back to Longmeadow to see my family more often now. I am still
an Oceanographer in the Navy, so we have moved around a lot but should
be in DC for at least 4-5 years. I look forward to getting in touch
with some old friends. Take Care, Paul
David Cohen 05/Apr/2000:21:14:14
It was great to catch-up with everyone via the web site. It looked as
if a good time was had by all. My visits back to Longmeadow are few
and far between. I am living in a small town in PA (Washington
Crossing) with my wife Susan and two great boys Drew and Dean. After
15 years in corporate America, I have joined the internet bandwagon as
V.P. Marketing for a company called supplyFORCE.com. It's fun, fast
and challenging. Looking forward to the 25th reunion photos. Thanks,
Jay, for a walk down memory lane.
Bob Snyder 05/Apr/2000:13:57:23
Hello everyone, I am sorry that I could not attend the reunion. I am
currently living in S.W. Fl., Cape Coral to be exact.I have been
married for 15 years and have 2 girls Selena and Emily. Currently I am
working as a teacher in the middle school, I teach and work with
mentally challenged students. I attempt to find a vocation for them and
then focus there attention on learning that skill. Anyways I hope to be
at #25.
Tyrone Settles 30/Mar/2000:03:33:56
Hi everyone, couldn't made the reunion. Sounds like everyone there had
a good time. Those picture on the website were very nice to see.
Hopefully I can made the 25th reunion. Everyone take care.
David Glaser Longmeadow High Class of 79 19/Mar/2000:23:22:31
Last I stepped foot in Longmeadow was about five years ago; it was kind
of eerie seeing all those tree-lined streets where I lived for almost 18
years. It brought back a lot of memories--some good, some not so good.
I'm now beem living in Denver for nearly a dozen years. After finally
finishing 26th grade in '95, I began work full-time for Kaiser at a
local, very busy emergency room and am now the dept. chairman. Lot's of
work; sometimes seems a bit too crazy. My wife, Mary, and I will
celebrate our 17th anniversary this year. We have one son, Jack, born in
'97. Looks like the reunion was fun. Hope to hear from somebody out there
(whatever became of Drew Tick--anyone remember "Tick Talk" in the school
paper?
Kitty Stelzer 07/Mar/2000:17:56:58
Hi Everyone!
Jay, the website is AWESOME! It is so cool seeing all the pictures (old -&- new) of everyone and reading the guestbook. I think at this reunion (thanks to technology) a lot of people connected and are staying in touch. I too cannot believe how many people are living in Longmeadow! John Englehart, you still make me laugh! Chris Bachiochi, send Jay a recent pic of you! I'm glad everyone had a great time at the reunion, and I appreciate all the nice comments! As I've said many times, it takes a TEAM to put on a reunion. If you can really help...contact Diane Romell Millas at Dmilltwin@aol.com...she needs ACTION people. And the reason I retired from the reunion committee? I didn't get to talk to HALF the people I wanted to...but I plan on making up for it at the 25th....so be warned! I'd love to hear from classmates...just to say "hi". I live in Longmeadow with my son who's a sophomore at LHS!

Bryan Taylor 15/Feb/2000:22:13:51
Hi Everyone:
Here's a message from a "lost" member of the '79 class. I'm living in
Colorado now, and working as an Associate Professor of Communication at
the University of Colorado-Boulder. After graduating from UMASS in
1983-and surviving two semesters of rooming with Andre LaMontagne- I
headed West to complete my graduate work at the University of Utah in
Salt Lake. Then down South for 5 years to teach at Texas A-&-M-where ,
as you've probably heard they build giant piles of logs and set them
on fire. So it's no surprise that Colorado seemed better, although its
Falls are no match for changing leaves in Western Mass. Andre is
pretty much my only steady contact from LHS, although I've talked some
with Chris Sheffield and Rich Grant, and also spent some time with Greg
Mader, another MIA who was - not to give too much away - last seen
working for the LA Police Department. Hope you all are well. Would
welcome messages to catch up.
David Boudreaux 13/Feb/2000:15:08:25
Hi everyone. I'm sorry that I missed the reunion. It sounds like it was
a lot of fun. I'll certainly be there for the 25th. Thanks for posting
the pictures on the web site. They're great. I have been back in
Longmeadow for 5 years now. I live on Burbank road with my wife Marge
and my children (Matthew 3 1/2, and Olivia 5 mos.). Be safe and
healthy and I hope that our paths cross.

Heidi Raker Goldstein 12/Jan/2000:05:10:36
Delighted to see all the comments from classmates and the photos! My
husband, two daughters (ages 4 and 14 months) and I missed the reunion
due to a long-planned Bahamas trip. We live in Tenafly, New Jersey,
about 15 minutes outside Manhattan; I had been a Big Apple resident
since graduating Sarah Lawrence College. I'd enjoy hearing from
classmates, especially those living in the tri-state area. Best wishes
to all for a joyous, healthy and prosperous New Year!
Chris Bachiochi 09/Jan/2000:23:56:57
Jay,
Thanks for the e-mail and link to the web site. The pictures are
great. It looks like Donny Bridge has almost as much white hair as I
do. Of course I had a good start before even graduated high school. I
wish I could have made the reunion this time but I will not miss the
25th. It looks like everyone had a great time and I look forward to
seeing more pictures. If anyone knows how I might get my hands on a 79
yearbook I would like to hear from you. Wishing you all the best from
here in Las Vegas.
Chris, Laurie, Jake and MacKenzie
Darlene Paskins-Sama 28/Dec/1999:22:55:36
Hello everyone,
I am sorry that I didn't hear about the reunion sooner in order to make
plans to come, I always find out to late. My sister just so happen to
find this website and told me about it, I can not believe so many of
the familiar faces. I am living in Atlanta,Georgia for the past 18
years, I'm married with 3 children ( all boys) and a brand new home.
WHERE ARE THE METCO PEOPLE LOCATED NOW?
Dan Plotkin 14/Dec/1999:20:57:39
Most '79 graduates may not realize that I didn't graduate LHS. After my
sophmore year, John Flatow and I were told that it would be in the best
interest of the students (and the faculty, building and town)if we were
to go elsewhere.Flatow ended up at Loomis Chaffe (sic) where I was
refused because during the interview all I wanted to know about was the
smoking policy, so I ended up at Wilbraham Monson. There, I graduated
with David Thomas, Richard Simons and a few other castaways I can't
recall. They had an exellent smoking policy, I might add.
I reside on Longmeadow Street off the green with Son Sam, Daughter
Sophie, Wife Mollie and a very overweight cat. I am a shopping center
developer, which I can hardly believe given where I've been.
Robert Cohen 07/Dec/1999:23:24:56
Hi everyone!
I'm sorry to have missed a great reunion. I hope to make it to the next
one. The pictures were terrific! I was actually sitting down with my
wife going through the "79" yearbook, showing her how everyone looked
"back then"!! It was great! well, if anyone happens to be passing
through Miami give us a call, we would love to see you. See you in
2004!!!!!!!
Mario Fricchione 06/Dec/1999:10:09:35
Couldn't make reunion but wanted to say hi to all. Great web site.
John Englehart 03/Dec/1999:13:37:58
This site is terrific, but who are all these old people? I'm sorry to
have missed the reunion -- will be there for sure in 2004 (if that
doesn't drive attendance down, nothing will). Meantime, I hope any of
you passing through London will give me a shout.
Kathleen (Daly) Leo 02/Dec/1999:19:22:22
Thanks to Jay Holsing for this fun web site and also to those who
helped us track down missing classmates. We were originally missing
over 200 people! I had a great time seeing you all. I am on Cape Cod
raising 2 children and one husband!! See you in 2004!
Nancy Riker MacDonald 02/Dec/1999:18:50:19
I had a great time at the reunion. Everyone looked great but I did need the name tags. It was great to see many of the wild women and hope your all still a little crazy at times. Send me mail...I would love to keep in touch. If any one lives in Buffalo, NY please contact me. If you ever come to Niagara Falls let me know, I'm close by. Take care Y'all.
Ann (Genden) Forman 02/Dec/1999:13:41:29
Thanks Jay for creating the website. It gave me an opportunity to see
some of what I missed. I hope more pictures are added. Sorry I
couldn't make it. We had made other plans months ago for our last
hurrah as a family of three and being 8 months pregnant it would have
been a challenge flying from California with a 2 year old in tow. We
are living in Foster City, 21 miles south of San Francisco and enjoying
the moderate climate. Tahoe is not too far away so we can still enjoy
skiing without the ice and bitter temperatures. My best to all.
Thanks again for creating the website.
Diane Romell Millas 01/Dec/1999:23:29:33
Glad to see so many "old" friends at the 20th year reunion !! Steve and
I had a great time catching up on years of news. Thanks to Kitty
Stelzer, Kathleen Daly Leo, and Carroll O'Connor- my committee
counterparts !! Planning the reunion was a snap with all this great
technology -- How did we live 20 years ago?? -- with No PC's, No
email, No voicemail, No fax machines, no beepers, no cellphones, No
websites! There aren't even card catalogs anymore..Gosh-our kids today
are so lucky !!
We are living in Wilton, Connecticut with our adorable twin boys -hope
all of our "renewed" old friends stay in touch . Hope to see many more
of you at our 25th in the year 2004.
Suzi (Wilochka) Krasner 30/Nov/1999:21:23:57
Thanks to all who organized the reunion, and to Jay for this incredible
website! Howard and I had fun; it was great seeing old town buddies.
Amazing how many of us are living and raising our families in
Longmeadow. Working as a CNM means a crazy schedule (since babies seem
to come at all hours), but always willing to see old friends. Keep in
touch.
Jay Josephson 30/Nov/1999:21:01:50
Had a great time. It was nice seeing some old friends.
Great to be back in South Florida.Blood has thinned out
since leaving here for 9 yrs. Anybody visiting in the Boca Raton
area give a shout, a few of us down here.Paridise every day.
Peggy Cardwell Hanlon 30/Nov/1999:19:50:50
I had a great time at the reunion. I hope I get to see some of you
before another 5 years go by.
Pat and Lou Midura 30/Nov/1999:18:55:13
We had a great time at the reunion. It was wonderful to see everyone. Lou and I are living in Sunderland, Vt. with our three boys. If anyone comes up North to go skiing-give us a call. We are the only Midura's in the Manchester area.

Hello all...
Those who made the Reunion - great to see you!
Those who did not.. perhaps our paths will cross!

Enjoyed seeing everyone again. It was nice visiting MA but, it's great
to be home in Alaska again.
Sarah (Woods)Bates 30/Nov/1999:09:47:44
The reunion was a great success - my husband Damon and I had fun
reconnecting with old friends. We're in Wellesley, MA with our 3 sons.
Jay Holsing 29/Nov/1999:23:32:45
Thanks for visiting OUR website. I am hoping to post more 20th reunion
photos as they come in. Use your scanners kids! Send old photos too if
you want. {The 10th reunion?} Don't forget to enter your email in the
Longmeadow High alumni homepage. This site will be updated as often as
possible. I hope you enjoy! Jay Holsing '79
