MAIN July 2009: The LHS Class of 1979 Facebook group now has over 100 members! Class Of 1979 on FACEBOOK: Check it out! We are having a great time sharing with each other! Hello Members of the Longmeadow High School Class of 1979! WHEN: Our 30th Reunion is on Friday November 27, 2009. It will be held at the Storrowton Carriage House in West Springfield. The cost for this event is 60$. There will be plenty of food, fun, friends, a DJ and booze! Doors open at 7pm. WHERE: The Carriage House, a beautiful banquet room with a bar, is located on the grounds of Storrowton Tavern at The Big E. 1305 Memorial Ave West Springfield, MA 01089-3578 (413) 732-4188 WHO: ALL members of the Class Of 1979 AND members of the Class Of 1978 and 1980. We played sports, joined clubs and dated classmates that were not part of LHS 1979. {Class of 1980 has to sit at the kids table!} We would like to see anyone who feels connected to us. TEACHERS TOO! ABOUT: This is going to be a casual cocktail party type atmosphere with servers moving through the crowd delivering food right to where ever you are standing. There will also be a buffet station and plenty of seating. You do not need to dress up but are welcome to if you want. There will be NO traditional mailing. If anyone interested in a reunion has not found our class website after ten years then they are probably not really interested in going. FACEBOOK: We have a group on Facebook with over 80 classmates! We are having a ball sharing photos and stories on Facebook. Join the fun! Facebook 1979 Group There are well over 100 classmates on Facebook. Please recruit people to join so they can stay up to date. Please email classmates who you know may be out of the loop. The perfect blend for a night of telling old stories and listening to new ones. Diane and Kathleen should be commended for organizing this event. THANKS LADIES!!!
