Enjoying our summer!

There's a lot going on here, including a full website do-over. I needed a change and found these amazing websets by Miz Graphics! Aren't they gorgeous?? I plan on having every page updated soon (even the photo albums!) but I know it's going to take me a while. I'm also working on a site for Mom's BTC support group.

Shane's taken his Computer Operator II test for the state and we hope to be hearing from them soon. He was also called to take the Computer Operator I test. I encouraged him to apply to both so that he has a fallback. He switched to 2nd shift at his current job and it's great being able to have him for the weekends, as well as a little in the morning and a little in the evening (although I'm always exhausted by the time he gets home, though).

We've had a few troubles, including a little post-partum depression on my part (it seems to have passed). We're still tight money-wise but we're really trying as hard as we can. We'd both rather I stay home and watch the kids, then to go get a FT job and pay for day care for both the boys (which would cost a fortune!!). I am still working Avon, but haven't been doing as much as I should be. Still trying to figure out how to juggle 2 kids and a FT business!

I have decided to go back to school, not yet, maybe when the kids get into school, but at least I know what I want to do. Many of you know that I toy with web design and graphics and I'm going to pursue a career in graphic design. Mom just quoted that a guy she knows charges $400+ for his web designs that he does from home! He doesn't even advertise, just goes by word of mouth!! I know Shane would love if I could get some money out of this, as I spend most of my free time doing it already. Until then I'll just keep practicing with personal web pages.
