The Snow Queen would ride in a sleigh over the ice and snow. She had a heart of ice.

I wanted to include the Snow Queen in my video "The Nutcracker Suite".

This video was filmed in December 2001 and completed in January 2002.

For the costume I used a white feather crown that I bought at a local store.

I used Christmas icicles for earrings and made a collar out of poster board.

I used white makeup on my face and added blue lips, eyeshadow, and shadow on my nose and cheeks.

My Snow Queen looked pretty creepy. I added a magic wand and was ready to film.

I hanged sheets up for a back drop and placed white blankets on the floor to make everything white.

The Snow Queen first appears in the film with her reflection being cast in a mirror. She slowly turns her head and glares into the mirror.

The Queen reaches out to touch the mirror, and then tosses a handful of snow into it.

She works her evil spell into the mirror.

The Snow Queen lifts up the mirror and peers into it, and then setting it down, spins in a dance.

The Snow Queen never smiles, but continues to peer into the mirror.

Don't mess with the Snow Queen!
