Tip One
Have a nice layout that will help you orginize your page. If you have an expage site, you will have a character limit so keep the text small. If you have a domain, I would suggest having frames with a simple graphic.
Tip Two
Make sure your colors match. That is why somebody invented a CSS code so all of your plain text, bold text, italic text, and links match. I have my own CSS shop so you can always check there for some good codes.
Tip Three
Make sure the text or CSS code you are using is readable. Use a nice neat font such as arial, verdana, or tahoma. Use a pt. size at least nine or a regular size of two. This size isn't to big or too small and it is readable. Make sure your colors are readable too.
Tip Four
This tip also has to do with typing. DoN't TyPe LiKe ThIs. This is a pretty reasonable rule to understand. Also don't type in all caps. It also takes a long time to type, and besides, wouldn't you rather be putting up a subpage rather then be waiting to finish typing your text?
Tip Five
Have good content. This will keep the visitors busy and they will be willing to come back. Try to have a lot of free stuff for your visitors. That way they can link back to you and you can get some more hits.
