Android 8:
Android 8 was an android which was created by the evil Red Ribbon Army who was created to fight for the Red Ribbon Army to take over the world but instead he absolutely hated violence and refused to fight for the Red Ribbon Army. Android 8 was never killed and is still alive.

Bulma:
Bulma in Dragonball is a young teenager on a search to find all seven of the Dragonballs so that she can make a wish for a boy friend. She bumps into Goku in the first episode to find out that he has one of the dragonballs. Bulma finally got one of the dragonball from Goku and the two set of for a wild journy to find the rest of the seven dragonballs.

Chi Chi:
Chi Chi is a young girl in Dragonball who is the daughter of Ox King, when she meets Goku she falls in love with him and made Goku promise that when they were old enough that they would get married, Goku agreed seen as he didn't know what love was or marriage. Chi Chi and Goku fought in the Worlds Martial Arts Tournament nearing the end of Dragonball.

Dr Breif:
Dr Breif is the father of Bulma and is the president at Capsule Corps. He invented the Dyno Pods (the little capsules, with the button on top of it to release an item.). Dr Breifs is always with his cat and in the un-cut versions of Dragonball/Dragonball Z and Dragonball GT he can be found with a cigarette in his mouth.

Lord Pilaf:
Lord Pilaf is an emperor and since the second episode of Dragonball he has wanted to find all the dragonballs so that he can rule the world. He nearly comes close to ruling the world in DBGT but he slipped up and wished for Goku to be young again. Lord Pilaf thought that one dragonball could make a wish in Dragonball.

Goku:
Goku is the first character we see in Dragonball and he is a young boy at this stage, with his blue gi on and his power poll, he lives on his own in the woods because his Grandpa died. Goku had the first dragonball in Dragonball and thought that when the dragonball glowed it ment that his Grandpa was speaking to him, when in actual fact it just ment that another dragonball was close by. Goku meets Bulma after getting ran over with his fish by Bulma's speeding car. Goku eventually meets Master Roshi and gets trained to become a great martial artist.

Grandpa Gohan:
Grandpa Gohan is Goku adopted sort of Grandpa, the reason for this is because when Goku was just a little boy he got sent from Planet Vegeta to Earth to rule that planet. When Goku arrived on the planet Earth, Grandpa Gohan met him and named him Goku(his real name is Kakarotto). Goku accidently killed Gohan by stamping on him when he turned into an Oozaru.

Jackie Chun:
Jackie Chun is actually Master Roshi who disguises himself in the Worlds Martial Arts Tournament so that he could teach Krillin and Goku a few lessons in how to be a great martial artist. At the end of the martial arts tournament Jackie Chun beats Goku to become the 21st Worlds Martial Arts winner.

Krillin:
Krillin is a bald headed little kid who goes to Master Roshi to learn Martial Arts. Krillin is a cool monk kid. ;)

Mai:
Mai is a woman who works with Shu to find the dragonballs for Lord Pilaf, so that he can rule the world. She tends to screw up on most occassions with Shu because they get scared easily.

Master Roshi:
Master Roshi otherwise known as Jackie Chun in the worlds martial arts tournament is a great martial artist with a downside to his skills, and that is the fact that he is a perverted old man but don't let that fact make you think about him any differently ;) When Master Roshi see's a naked lady his nose bleeds, Roshi hangs around on an island with his Turtle. Master Roshi trains Goku and Krillin in the dragonball series to become great martial artists, Krillin starts off stronger than Goku but that changes by far as you will see through the episodes.

Oolong:
Oolong is basically an evil pig who went to shape shifting school with Puar. Oolong has the ability to change into anything for 5 minutes and he used his trick to get girls from a village because like Master Roshi he is also a freakish pervert.

Ox King:
Ox King is the father of Chi Chi and is a very strong beefy guy, who was also trained by Master Roshi. He is alot bigger in size than all of his friends together.

Piccolo Daimoa:
Piccolo Daimoa is the pure evil side of Kami, he was seperated with Kami by Lord Pilaf so that Piccolo and Pilaf could find the dragonballs. When they both found the dragonballs Piccolo screwed Pilaf over and wished to be young again rather than the old guy he looks like. He killed Master Roshi because Roshi tried to put him back in the jar, he then tried to kill Tien but Goku interuppted and spear headed through him causing an egg to fly out of his body, which is the good Piccolo.

Puar:
Puar is a talking, blue and a flying cat, that also went to Shape Shifting school. He was bullied by Oolong in shape shifting school, he is a loyal cat of Yamcha's from Dragonball to the end of the series.
Shenron:
Shenron is the eternal dragonball that grants one wish everytime someone collects all seven of the Earths Dragonballs. He can grant alot of wishes that are only in his power and cannot wish someone back to life more than once.

Shu:
Shu looks like some sort of wolf thing that works with Mai to find all off the seven earths dragonballs so that Lord Pilaf can wish to rule the world. He is a very dumb person indeed and ends up screwing up the mission more times that Mai does. He is very clumsy indeed.

Tsururennin:
Tsururennin was the teacher of Chaotzu and Tien up until Tien and Chaotzu found out that Tsururennin wasn't a good guy, so the two left and went to Master Roshi's. Master Roshi kamehameha'ed Tsururennin away because he tried to attack Tien and Chaotzu because they left him.

Turtle:
Turtle is a very old friend of Master Roshi's and he gets lost in the second episode of Dragonball so Goku and Bulma returned him to Master Roshi where in return Bulma got a dragonball from Master Roshi.

Uranai Baba:
Uranai Baba is the old cranky witch like sister of Master Roshi and is always floating in the air with her crystal ball. She can do alot with her ball like predict things and see whats going on around the world, so she knows alot of gossip from her travels.

Yamcha:
Yamcha is a desert bandit that always protects the desert where he lived with Puar, until Goku came along, Yamcha couldn't fight Goku because his eyes were on Bulma to much because he had a crush on her. Yamcha's finishing attack is the Wolf Fang Fist, that is a devastating attack.
