Pearl Jam will have a new release for fans "attentively" due out in November. This will be the band's seventh studio album. No song titles have yet to be unveiled but it seems that some material was influenced by the Sept. 11 events. The band is possibly making plans for a few live shows before the end of the year, followed by and extensive tour in 2003 with the new album's release.

Queens of the Stone Age will have a new single out on Aug 27. The first 200,000 fans that purchase the new "explicit" album version of "Song of the Dead" will get a free DVD featuring studio footage, three live songs, and 2 songs from Ozzfest 2000.

Nonpoint will release a DVD titled "Accompaniment" on Sept. 10. The DVD will feature all their videos and backstage footage from their tours and live shows.

Looking forward to the Slipknot DVD being released in the fall?? The DVD is actually being edited by Clown (Shawn Crahan) and will feature videos and live performances from various shows and tours. Corey Taylor (#8) states," its gonna have all our videos that various stations wont play and some backstage stuff." After they wrap up their tours and side projects, Slipknot prepares to work on their new album.

Saliva has finished pre-production work on their follow-up album from "Every Six Seconds" named "Back Into Your System" slated for a mid-August release. Front man Josey Scott says the band has written and recorded 18 songs but only 12 will make the cut. Scott is possibly going to make the title of the album the first single off it. "It's about coming back home and back to the fans," says Scott.
