Poems and Stories! (Yes, they are funky!)

Alright, here is a small collection of the screwed up things that come from my brain! As I get time, more will be added! So enjoy the oddity!!!

Well, this is not my own work, however it is a direct quote from my good friend Avery, in dealing with a friendship problem I am having. I think this is very wise of him and it's a very good response...
"I would have to say, over the past few months you guys have really been growing further and further away, so there is a 'conflict' there, and it does not seem like it is getting resolved at all... or in any 'healthy' way, so I would think that the natural response would be to just, not try to attain anymore from the relationship. You did not give up, only you grew tired of the constant conflict." - Avery Karrick

Am

As I was,
How I'll be.
As I am,
Is what you see.

Here I am,
See me now.
I will stay,
You don't know how.

Live in now,
It is here.
Life will pass,
Another year.

As this is,
Still will be.
This is life,
It starts with me.

Untitled

How does it feel to twist the knife?
Feel my flesh rip in your hands.
Do you like to do this often?
Or are you that dense that you don't know it's happening.

How does it feel to twist the knife?
Knowing that I am in utter pain.
Do you realize I hurt too?
Or are you just that numb.

How does it feel to twist the knife?
Feeling my blood, warm and beautiful.
Do you not have any regard for my feelings?
Or do you just not care.

How does it feel to twist the knife?
I see you losing grip.
Do you know your losing control?
Or are you not paying attention.

How does it feel to twist the knife?
I feel myself getting stronger.
Do you know I can over take you?
Or are you just that self confident.

How does it feel to twist the knife?
I grip it and over take you.
Do you know I can beat you?
Or do you not realize.

How does it feel to feel the knife?
I can, will, and have taken you.
Do you know your life is in my hands?
Or are you to weak to do anything about it.

Adventureless

There was a girl who lived by the lake.
The sea she could never see.
Seeing signs of "No Wake,"
Was all she'd ever be.

Crash

Sitting upright, half twist to the left, "POP, POP, POP" half twist to the right, "POP, POP, POP" "sigh." Left foot on the ground, followed slowly by the right. Hands on flat surface, push off and up. Crackle, creak, click, all shifted now.

One foot in front of the other. Grab the knob and clockwise turn, pull, "AHHHHH."

Bright white light streams in the darkness. Feeling blind, pupils dialate to adjust to the light. Focusing, focusing, focusing, got it. Quarter turn left and gently down. Step, step, step, decending on the stair case. Wobbly knees, shaking balance. Last step finally here. Pushing off, walking, destination unknown.

There's the spot, turn around, bend the knees, hands for leverage. Down, down, down, plop. Sitting, reaching, stretching, straining, got it. Push and electrons are scattered around the room. Staring, not focusing, not caring, glancing away. Clock. "Oh Shit, LATE."

Jumping up, knocking remote down, stubbing toe on table. Walking rapidly, one foot in front of the other. Up, up, up, rising to the void. At the top of the stair case.

Quarter turn right, fumbling wall, "Ow." Click, dialating again. Smell of sleep going away. Walk and turn. Pull, search, search, grab, pull. Up, off, throw down, on , pull, yank, done. Click, quarter turn left down, decending toward the bottom. Walking forward.

Slip, slip, grab, push down, pull towards, "Woosh." Smell the air, sweet and cool. Step off, left foot first. Half turn left. Stop. Lift up handle, right foot, down, left foot, in. Slam. Fumbling through keys. Got it. Insert it in the ignition switch, quarter turn forward, Vroom.

Springs to life, shift to reverse, step on gas with right foot, rushing backwards, rolling, turning wheel, Stop!

Click, click, shifted into drive. Onward. Accelerating, slowing down. Pumping gas and not. Turning left, turning right, on the road again. Must hurry, am late, step on peddle harder. Speed slowly climbing. Mashing peddle to the floor. Speeding up, needle climbing. Thoughts are racing in the head. Look away, road curves, car goes straight. "AHHHHHHH!"
