history was painful. i haven't read any of the recent material (ch. 19 and 20), so i wasn't too well-versed in discussion. i just inferred a whole lot. hard to stretch things with historical, "concrete evidence" though, easier to do in english. anyway, history was the only crappy period of the day.
in spotlight, i was deathly afraid that we'd have to perform our (awful) scene. it's a major grade, and our group has not prepared well at all. i had my props and costume, and my lines down fairly well, but we hadn't practiced together but once. so i was dreading that--but, by the grace of God once again (or alexis, whichever), alexis didn't show up to spotlight! at all! since she's our director, we couldn't perform our scene. amazing, eh?! methinks she was still on holiday. but ooh, is she in trouble! ms. h was livid. we (the group) called alexis during class and thanked her for not coming for whatever reason, and also to stay wherever she was at least for the rest of the period. lol. oh, and my half-assed play report didn't have to be turned in today--they aren't due until the 13th. :9 swanny, you have you dates all wrong, hon.
we had oklahoma practice until 7. it was typical. the principal actors are doing a really excellent job, i must say. the male dancers are really great too.
so at the moment, i'm listening to this yummy new flaming lips album, eating some gross cold digiorno pizza, and drinking sparkling grape juice. i love this stuff; i drink it out of the bottle. not much else to say but thank God it's Friday. (i've thanked God three times in this entry, whoo! a record!)

So it's new years eve. Not much else to say about that. I bought the new Flaming Lips album, 'Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots'. It's excellent.
