how can i expect to see the computer monitor when the sunlight is glaring right in my face. ::closes blinds:: it is really lovely outside today. i think that after i shower, organize my room, eat some ice cream, and do some homework i will go for a bike ride or go out to the barn and ride Diamond. i found a really pretty picture of him and i, at a show a couple of years ago:

yes, it's blurry, because it was in the first place, and i don't have a scanner so i had to capture it with my webcamera. ghetto, huh? but yeah, that's my Diamond. so pretty. he was really in shape back then. he's pudged out a bit since that day.

yes well, i wish that i didn't have small gold chains hanging from my palate. it's not too cool. but how many people do you know actually have gold chains installed in their mouth? i must be a special kind of girl then! eh? cool, eh? it's sort of like a piercing. i must be a punk. and it's like my bling-bling. i'm bling-blingin', yo. the bling-blinginest white girl this side of R to the OC. werd.

35 DAYS 'TIL COLDPLAY!!

yes, so...what has happened in the past few days? quite a bit.

i got my one ring, from ebay. :D i wear it around my dad's gold chain. it delights me. i've become somewhat of an ebay addict. i've got about 11 items on watch (a Beck t-shirt, Beatles memorabilia, a Travis poster, playstation controllers, guitar straps), and i've also bought a set of 5 Coldplay pins. oh, the wonderment.

on Christmas Day, my family went to see Chamber of Secrets. it made my day of course, and my parents seemed to like it, they just had their same complaint--'too long.' my dad kept glancing at his watch. ::grumble:: not true fans. but at least they appreciated it. so that brings my viewing count to 3. ::grin::

yesterday was a yucky day. we departed at 10:30 AM to go to the oral surgeon. i had an IV inserted into my arm, i was put under heavy anesthesia, and had lots of delightful things done to me. two large incisions were made in the roof of my mouth--they bonded two gold chains to the permanent teeth that are stuck up there. they stitched up the incisions, and tied off the ends of the chains to my braces--the orthodontist is going to tend to those next week. (the chains will be attached to my palatal bar, and the teeth will slowly be pulled down into their proper places.) delightful, eh? i also had a mother of a baby tooth pulled. it was lodged in there so tight, that it took them an hour to extract. it was partially fused to the bone. my baby teeth sure are buggers; they never want to come out! i came out of the anesthesia as they were mopping blood off my face. they unhooked me from the machines and i hopped up to go sit in another room and see my parents. they said i was a good patient, hooray! i didn't want to walk with the aid of another person but they ended up taking my arm anyway.

i got home, collapsed on a recliner, and felt like i was going to puke. a side effect of anesthesia, i believe. but i didn't puke, thankfully. when i woke up, my dad had bought a gallon of coffee ice cream (MY FAVORITE!), vanilla ice cream, malt mix, soup (chicken and stars!), and apple sauce. needless to say, i can't eat solid food for quite awhile, so these are all fun things i get to eat. :D i also got santa pen from the oral surgeon. it lights up when you write!! and, they gave me coupons for free cherry limeades at sonic, and a free smoothie from TCBY. they are quite nice.

i forced my dad to watch the Fellowship DVD with me. he has the shortest attention span ever. it took us all night to get through it, what with his pausing it to cook and whatnot. jeremy came over with the Windows XP cd, and we fixed the computer (yeah, it was crapping out with the unmountable_boot_volume screen, but we set it right and showed the beast who's boss!)

so, other than that...i experienced a bit of mouth pain post-op, but since then it has worn off, and all i can feel is raw places in my mouth and the stitches. i think i'm losing weight though because i haven't eaten much. but other than that, i'm doing fine. still have to work on these dumb projects though.

how do you like the new layout? i made it meself. it's something i concocted about a year ago but i never really used it. just added a moulin rouge picture at the top. yeah i know, it sucks, but it's there until i get any other inspiration.

i'm supposed to go see Two Towers today at 2:15. wooha! i'm halfway through fellowship (the book). la la la.
