The West Lothian Songwriters' Group

Welcome to our website.

It is designed to help songwriters in West Lothian and round about to get together.

We are some of the many performers on West Lothian's thriving acoustic music scene.

We know that a lot of people write songs, but aspiring songwriters have little chance to try them out in a supportive setting. We can give you that opportunity; we combine it with the chance of getting some constructive comments to help each of us improve our skills. Find out more about what we do and how we do it.

Our regular meeting place is the Black Bitch, West Port, Linlithgow,West Lothian, on the first Monday of each month.

1) No meeting on 1st January 2007 - for some reason everyone is busy! Happy New Year!

2) WLSG will be hosting a session at The Singers Gathering - 24th and 25th February 2007 - Scotland's celebration of unaccompanied and group singing, focusing on the evolving Scots song tradition, held this year at the Regal Community Theatre, Bathgate. Read all about it here.
