Wild Thistles - Melody Summers
Melody Summers is a Canadian artist/writer living in the Riverdrive Park
area of Ontario. Staunchly proud of her Scottish & celtic ancestry, Melody
is currently working on her first historical fiction novel, based around the
life and times of Sir William Wallace - Scotland's greatest patriot hero, who
overshadows even the mighty Bruce. In her own words...
"History - It defines who we were, what we are and what we will become.
It's the very essence of what makes us part of the universe. Have we learned
from past mistakes or destined to repeat them? Can we embrace these dark secrets
and continue to live as we do, or will man need to dissect every part of the
darkness in order to understand what went so terribly wrong? In short, I believe
we do. And to make right the wrongs done to so many, we need to take a step back
and remember those who struggled to give us what was only once a dream."
