Annual Membership Meeting

Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at 7:30pm, at the Watchung Arts Center

When and Where?  The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at 7:30pm, at the Watchung Arts Center.  Prior to the meeting, please join us at 6:45pm for a wine and cheese reception to allow you to meet and mingle with your Board of Directors, Executive Director and friends.

What to vote for?  *  Election of Board members.  Scott Sheldon is the only new candidate.  He is doing a marvelous job in revitalizing and expanding our Folk Series and now wants to expand his role by becoming a director.  Scott deserves your full support.  None of the existing Board members are up for reelection this year.  * No other item is listed which requires the vote of the membership.  However, we would like to have an informal, interactive discussion with you about the challenges and opportunities at WAC.

How to vote?  *  You should receive your ballot in the mail by late April.  (ALT.: The ballot is attached below; please cut out as indicated).  *  In Person: Come to the meeting on May 15, complete the ballot and drop it off in the voting box.  *  By Mail:  Complete the ballot by marking your vote, date and sign (optional), and return it by mail, in time to be received by WAC latest on or before May 15.  Personal delivery at WAC during its’ office hours may substitute for mail delivery.

Why Should I Vote/Attend?  *  Out By-laws require a vote of at least 10% of our membership to have a valid election – we need YOUR vote!  *  Your vote elects a real great guy to our board!  *  Your response shows your support for the Watchung Arts Center – Your Art and Cultural Center Of Choice!
