The indomitable Seattle Slew. This magnificent photo was taken down the homestretch of the Grade 1 Preakness Stakes on May 21 1977 at historic Pimlico Park in Maryland. This incredible photo clearly displays the phenomenal talent and rock solid confirmation of Seattle Slew, who went on to capture the Belmont Stakes On June 11, completing a Triple Crown sweep that has left him alone in history as the first and only undefeated Triple Crown winner in all of recorded history. In addition to being an incredible champion on the racetrack, Seattle Slew was equally great off the track as well. In short, Seattle Slew was the "stallion" of stallions. And the late, great Swale was one of his finest and most successful sons.
