Known for its outstanding repertoire of classic operas such as "The Flower Girl" and "Song of Paradise", the Mansudae Art Troupe is considered one of the most prestigious performing groups of DPRK and enthusiastically received by millions of audience of 40 odd countries.

This time the artists will bring the best dance and music programs created in the past decades, all of which are first prizewinners in the national competitions. The National Women Orchestra, which performs often for state guests, is also invited to come with the Troupe and will play some typical Chinese pieces in addition to Korean and European classics. The backdrop is especially designed and produced by the National Supreme Arts Center of DPRK. The vocalists are also "the people's artists and meritorious artists at the national level".
