TWO WIN FOR BEST FISHING STORY
On Saturday, June 21st the "Halls of Ivy" held their first annual Fish Fry. Most members came in their fishing attire to enjoy a wonderful afternoon on the web with their friends. Two of the members told a "whopper" of a tale and both were awarded a trophy for their participation. Shirl and Dixie Gal amused us all with their story. The room had a "mess" of posts that day, recording almost 200 for this activity. Your hostess thanks all for making the event a success.

On the outside, Faith Madison is the very picture of a sophisicated New Yorker... slim, blond, stylish. Faith has a life many would envy. Overcoming a childhood marked by tragedy, married to a successful investment banker and having raised two grown daughters, Faith has enjoyed her role as mother and wife, and the good life that emanuates from their bustling Manhattan town house. But every step of the way, Faith has carried within her a secret she could divulge to no one. And with it, she has kept an even more painful secret from herself....With unerring insight into the hearts of husbands and wives, lovers and families, this wise and moving story of the secrets that wound and the choices that heal and the second chances that come only once in a lifetime.

I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES

I believe in miracles each day I awake,

God is smiling down on me this I can take.

The mornings with the sunshine coming my way

shows me, "He's alive with each new day."

I believe in miracles, I see them all around,

My eyes open wide to learn I'm not bound.

The freedom He gives, it's always my choice,

All He asks in return is to keep him in our voice.

I believe in miracles, with the sight of a child,

A direction in life He teaches for a while.

He gives us the strength, the wisdom we need

to follow our journey's, to see where they lead.

He created a man with all his might,

A man's rib He took for his companion for life

A man, a woman He put together to fit just right

And all he asks in return is to keep him in sight.

I believe in miracles, when I see tears fall

from eyes a small hole put there for emotions to flow

A God who created all this for mankind

Just asks in return, To see him, not to be blind.

I believe in miracles, everytime I see my family, my friends,

A sure sign from above God loves me I see,

How much He cares, I see through all of you

A blessing in you is the gift he gave me.

As I pass this on to you from my heart,

May our friendship never part.

Animals do not brush their teeth everyday, but still develop tartar and plaque because they are not out scavenging food off of carcasses as in the days prior to domestication. Now it is our duty as responsible pet owners to insure proper dental health through routine dental brushings, yearly professional cleanings, and the use of pet toothpaste (human toothpaste can make them sick). Start young and your chances of success are much higher.
