WILLIAM KUNTZELMAN

OREGON--Services for William H. Kuntzelman, 74, who died Sunday in Warmolts Clinic after a short illness, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Farrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lightsville Cemetery north of Leaf River.

Mr. Kunzelman had been a barber for 48 years in Leaf River and Oregon.

He is survived by his widow, Bessie; two daughters, Mrs. O. B. Martin, Mt. Morris and Mrs. Chrissie Myers, Oregon; a son, Cutis, Mt. Morris; and four sisters. Mrs. William Hoover, Egan, Mrs. Lloyd Huff, Poplar Grove, Mrs. Ralph Blake, Leaf River, and Mrs. Benjamin Zilliox, Byron. [offered by Thelma Thomas Livingston/Carole Ann Heller]


Final Rites For Wm. Kuntzelman Held Last Week        [handwritten 1965]

William H. Kuntzelman, 74, 40 Jefferson St., Oregon, died early Sunday, September 15, in Warmolts Clinic following a short illness.

Mr. Kuntzelman had been a barber for 48 years in Leaf River and Oregon. For the past 35 years he had operated a shop in his home on Jefferson Street.

He was born May 24, 1889, the son of Aaron and Nettie Pypher Kuntzelman in Egan.

He was married to Bessie Fogle February 22, 1910, in Oregon.

Mr. Kuntzelman was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. O.B. (Valdean) Martin in Mt. Morris and Mrs. Chrissie (Virgie) Myers, Oregon; a son Curtis of Mt. Morris; four sisters, Mrs. William Hoover, Egan, Mrs. Lloyd Huff, Poplar Grove, Mrs. Ralph Blake, Leaf River, and Mrs. Benjamin Zillios, Byron; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Farrell funeral home with the Rev. Jack R. Sibley, pastor of the Mount Morris Christian Church, officiating. Burial was in Lightsville cemetery north of Leaf River.
