Services for Joseph H. Kuntzelman, 65, a world war 1 veteran and resident of Rockford many years, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. J. Leonard Carroll, pastor of Temple Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in Big Mound cemetery near Davis Junction. Mr. Kuntzelman died at 4:45 p.m. Friday in his home at 1819 W. Jefferson St.
He was born March 21, 1887, at Leaf River, the son of Joel and Sarah Kunzelman [sic]. He married the former Louella E. Geishert in May, 1934, in Belvidere. Mr. Kuntzelman was employed the past three years as a machinist by the Strachan Machine company.
Survivors are his widow and two sisters, Mrs. Eva Stenger and Mrs. Inez Lutz, all of Rockford. [offered by Thelma Thomas Livingston/Carole Ann Heller]

Luella Kuntzelman, in the mid-70s, 120 S. Church St., was pronounced dead at 1:30 p.m. Monday in her apartment.
The Winnebago County coroner's office said her death was from natural causes.
Ruth Anderson, deputy coroner, said the office has been unable to locate any surviving relatives. She requested that any survivors get in touch with the coroner's office in the Public Safety Building by phone.
The woman was found by two drivers of the Protestant Community Service Meals on Wheels program, when they arrived to deliver a hot meal to her.
The meal service was arranged some time ago by representatives of her bank, concerned with her welfare in recent weeks.

KUNTZELMAN --Mrs. Luella Kuntzelman, 85, 120 S. Church st., was pronounced dead at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, 1977, in her apartment. Born Dec. 6, 1892, in Davis Junction, daughter of Adam and Minnie Geishert. Lived all her life in the Rockford area. Her husband, Joseph, died in Rockford, Oct. 31, 1952. Survivors include a nephew, Everett Geishert, Rockford, and three nieces, Mrs. Evelyn Madden, Loves Park, Mrs. Merlette Lightcap, Rockford, and Mrs. Rose Noble, Geneseo. Also predeceased by 13 brothers and sisters.
