Norris, Parizida - Mrs. Parizida Norris, aged 78 years, died at her home at Helenwood Monday, April 10. She was the widow of the late William Henry Norris, was a splendid woman, and had a large number of relatives and friends in the county. She was the mother of 15 children, 6 of whom are still living. Also 24 grand children and 46 great-grand children. Funeral services were held at Low Gap Baptist church by Rev. L. M. Jeffers. Interment was in the Reed cemetery with Cooper's in charge.

FLORENCE NORRIS

Florence Norris 84, of Helenwood, passed away in the Scott County
Hospital Saturday evening June 18, she was the daughter of the late Zeke Newport
and the late Luvernia Phillips Newport, a member of the Helenwood Baptist Church.
Survivors: Six Sons: Willard Norris of Huntsville, Lester Norris of Helenwood, Tenn.,
Warren Norris of Sunbright, Raymond Gene Norris of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ray Norris
and Roy Norris both of Joilet, Ill., Five Daughters: Mrs. Hester Chambers of Pioneer,
Mrs. Nettie Risden of Pontiac, Michigan, Mrs. Beatrice Smith of Robbins, Mrs.
Christine Bond of Jonesboro, Ga., Mrs. Vivian Turner o Cloudland, Ga., Three
Sisters: Mrs. Emma Forion of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Lillian Showler of Cincinnati,
Ohio, Mrs. Fannie Byrd of Maryville, Tenn., One Hundred Grandchildren, forty great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren. Funeral services were conduced from the
West Funeral Home Chapel 11 A.M. Tuesday June 21, with Rev. Carl Jeffers officiating.
Burial in the Carson Memorial Park. West Funerl Home.
